I've got an ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WIFI motherboard, and I've had to RMA it twice already. Each time, they just send it back to me. Okay, so each wire would have to be able to handle 100W at 12V, or 8.3A.
Using a calculator, it says the smallest safe wire size is 20 AWG. 12VHPWR use 16 AWG wire, so that part's fine.

I know it's been said that the wires aren't the issue, I was just curious.
