my 2015 mazda 6 came with the tomtom navigation system/media interface thing and it has usb input and bluetooth input aswell
however the original chip that came with it (the one in it right now) is faulty (it has some issues with downloading phone data and taking a stupid long time to connect and stuff like that)
do you think that because the car is now out of warranty that Mazda will replace it for free? I have a service bulletin and part number and everything

I think there are already some self driving ride in semi-controled environment (limited in certain part of city and have a team behind it to do real-time problem solving)
