hybrid seems like additional costs
What I like about it is that it's basically maxed out in terms of features and creature comfort.
Idk why People think tesla has so bad qaulity i have been a few of friends model 3 and y and I havent noticed thst qaulty is much worse then other cars. The germans is a but better like bmw and Audi byt tesla is not bad in my opnion. Speciell the models after 2021.
idk my Dads friend had a S and a X and both had real bad body gaps.
Wich model year the early ones are bit bad but not the newer ones they have improved alot over the past fes years.
2021 S and 2022 X
Also it was scratched on delivery
Rachel ?
Who and who?
I have heard of that but tesla has been really fast on fixing that after delivery but its still unexpectibel. But our passat hade some loose chrome trim when we got it but Volkswagen didnt want to fix it for some reason.
Randy from Savage Garage
Oh, yeah. I heard about him.
idk about Rachel
When I heard Randy, I first thought Pobst.
oh what no way
damn
Talk about a rough year.
its been a hell of a year for sure
i’d kmagine it’ll take a little bit of time to get said statement
yea.
it’s devastating
he went too early
the thing about Tesla is that they have the best functionality of electric cars with the range and charging network and stuff.. but everything else like luxuriousness and quality is just eh.. like the normal car stuff that everyone else has nailed down
they’ve focused too much on the electric functionality it seems they just kinda put that to last lol
Because there are issues with paint and fit and finish.
There are plenty of pictures online with doors and trunks not lining up to body panels.
Then there's issue with bumpers falling off.
And then we have a few dozen other issues related to Elon and the company itself.
OSHA violations are concerning as are the environmental issues related to their paint shops.
The future shouldn't come the cost of workers rights.
Tesla can do better for the prices they're selling at.
Its just some that have those issues like 80% av all teslas does not have panel gaps. Everyone that I know that has a tesla havent hade any qualty issue with their cars and is very happy with them.
That leaves one in five Teslas with issues.
Companies have been taken to court over less.
You can support a car brand, and still be critical.
theres plenty of tesla advocates who cover their panel gaps and loose interior panels but accept it for what it is
Problem is ignoring workers rights issues and clean air act violations.
And some serious safety concerns like rear doors nothing having a physical fail safe.
Our passat have issues with qualty to so its not just tesla but the diffrents is that vokkswagen want ous to pay to fix the qulaty issue tesla will fix them for free at delivery if you ask them. And tesla has improved alot over the past few years qualty wise. And you need to consider that tesla has only mass prodcuered cars since 2012 And most other manufactures have dont it for like 50 years. And it seems like the cars that is made in china And Berlin seems to have better quality comparered to the cars that is made in usa.
They have a manuel Doors realease at the rear Doors that you cant miss. Its more common for People that have been in a tesla that they press the manuel Doors release then the Electronic one.
Where are the manual door releases in the back of the Model 3?
Model S rear door release is located underneath the carpet.
Model X requires you take off a speaker grill and hope you can find a wire pull, unmarked.
Model 3 doesn't have one.
Model Y apparently does hidden underneath the rear door pocket.
Or were that other Tesla's?
Other Teslas, yes.
Ah that was the Model X
yep
Mi bad
I think I've seen people fitting them themselves?
Like drilling a hole in the door pocket
If you need to modify a product to make it safe, it isn't safe.
And then attaching something to the cable
Oh no I'm definitely not trying to argue that lol
I feel it needed to be said.
same goes for video games. If you need to mod a game to make it playable, it's not good Dont' @ me Todd Howard.
tesla rear drive unit gearbox go boom
Also I'm not sure we can excuse Tesla being young for crap QC.
They have a century of experience and lessons to draw on.

Is was 45k new but remeber that volkswagen has 85 years of experince tesla only have around 14 year and 10 years of mass producing cars.
I like how they recognised the necessity for it on the front
That's still no excuse.
but just went ah fuck the rear passengers
Elon touted how he can do better and more with less.
He promised us good build quality and faster delivery to production.
And has failed on both counts consistently.
Oh no we just crashed, I'll dismantle the car so we can get out
Current Model 3 starting price is 47k.
Didn't he also promise a 35k Model 3? And a Cybertruck/Semi/Roadster years ago?
That's a good deal more than 35k that was promised.
I have a laundry list of issues with Tesla as a company.
Sadly QC is the least of them.
QC is easy to fix. Company culture is much harder.
Toyota has been funding political things of great spice in the US, but frankly I consider this worse.
the Base model 3 was 35k for a while but is was an off menu so you needed to a phycal visit to tesla and ask for it but since 2020 the price has gone up bit becuse People are willing to buy them anyways so why would the charge 40k when they can charge 50k for the same car.
Because that's called gouging.
And it goes against Tesla saying they'll make EVs affordable.
The Base Model 3 was never 35k.
If it's a hidden menu item, it's not on the menu.
Frankly that's one of the worst justifications for increasing prices.
Market share... Is this what the cool kids call stonks
So by that logic, GPU prices are undervalued as there are people out there willing to pay a grand for a 3070?
😛
Buying a tesla is a bit like buying an iPhone
You're paying a big premium for a brand name
And some proprietary tech you can't repair yourself
Without the quality control of an Apple product
That too
... why not just get a GMC Yukon Denali?
Nvidia would happily charge 1k mspr for a 3070 if people would be willing to pay that. But people aren't willing tp pay that much. Just look at the statistics for the model 3 people will buy it anyways. The sales has gone up for every year and the price to.
Hmmm that seems about right yes
Because they're being financed.
And looking at the general market? No they can't afford those loans.
Just because you get financed for something doesn't mean you can afford it in the slightest.
Tesla is being predatory if their only reason to increase prices is, "because we can"
They aren't trying to save the planet, they're just another crappy corporation out to drain the planet dry to line some rich billionaire's pockets.
Luckily Tesla is sacking 4000 employees with a fixed payrate
So they can extort the others

wow, more profit for Techoidiot Elon Musk.
Here's to hoping the next 8 years see Tesla go under.
I really hope they do
They've done their job. Let the real companies take over now.
He’ll still have 3 other companies to deal with lol
Nope they are paying for the best electric car for average driver. I am not stating that it has the best qualty or is most fun to drive but for daily driving it is one of the best if not the best electric cars . Here is list of the fastest electric cars on a 1000km road trip as you can se the model 3 is just 10 minutes slower then a kia plug in hybrid. Driving at the speed limit in norway.
Tesla is electric mobility, others are electric cars
That's a crap excuse tbh.
not an excuse I’m just stating it
it’s not the end of the world for him if Tesla somehow goes under
He's built his valuation of himself on Tesla over the last decade.
I don't see how that makes it the best anything for the average driver.
The average driver doesn't go 600 miles a day.
Tesla's repair times are abysmal. As is their after warranty support.
Why would I ever get a Tesla when Toyota, Honda, and Subaru have local dealerships that can repair my car in a fraction of the time?
because they don’t make as good electric cars
Tesla Bjorn's channel is absolutely wonderful. But his experiences are damn near useless for me.
They make better cars period.
The average driver just needs a car.
some people only have 1 car so when they do drive 600 miles it better work good
If some people have one car, they don't get an EV.
it’s like the truck argument
Especially in the North.
“Why do you need a truck when you only use it 3 times a year to haul stuff?!??!?” it’s just nice to have
like the long range
I think Tesla should take some time off of making new batteries and motors and whatnot and just make a new interior for all the cars
Tesla needs a new model for 3 of the 4 products they currently sell.
In fairly short order they'll be leapfrogged. Once the legacy automakers hit their stride, it's essentially game over.
So a tesla model 3 performance gets 438km of range in Norwegian winter and the polestar 2 gets 346km of range in the winter on dry roads compared to wet roads when he tested the model 3 perfoemce this go to show how much more efficient the tesla cars is compared to the competition and the Germans cars is even worse efficient wise. So they have a bit of catching up to do.
4-6 year platform life cycles with a fairly substantial refresh every 2-3 years.
what do you think doesn’t need a refresh?
Model Y by virtue of being the newest.
I thought plaid was the newest
Also out of curiosity. Because you just posted two lines of something.
What's the ratings for Polestar vs. the Model 3?
eMPG or whatever.
Plaid is a refresh at best.
Same platform, updated interior. That's about it.
It's basically a Hellcat as far as I'm concerned.
mmm
Like I said, Tesla is electric mobility, others are electric cars
Others are catching up tho
By all means feel free to disagree on this one.
BMW is also doing some great efficiency numbers
You can full well make the argument that a well designed platform can last a very long time.
The new Nissan Frontier for example is basically a heavy refresh of the original platform as is the new Z.
But reality is the competition hasn't moved that far over the last 15 years in those fields and Nissan didn't really need a new platform.
I guess that’s the thing
the design of the body itself is just good.. if it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess
I'm curious for the new Stellantis EV, they're targeting 13kWh/100km which would be impressive
aerodynamics wise anyways
Stylistically the entire Tesla range is dull and not great imo.
How many breakdowns per 100km tho?
I do not trust Chrysler to build an EV that will run through a charge.
Well "Stellantis" but basically PSA/Opel
I personally think that more companies should be building phev cars
it’s the perfect balance
Call me a redditor or a boomer, but I personally would like to see automakers do more HF style cars.
fully electric for around town (where a massive majority of driving happens) and gas for extra range if you go on a trip or something
Honda and GM did it over the years.
Basically a specific trim of a model that was designed around getting the best fuel efficiency possible.
Chevrolet Cruze Eco
So engines tuned to use less gas, transmissions geared to be almost comical. Less features inside to reduce weight, and in some cases lighter materials in the body construction.
Cruze Eco, Cobalt Eco as well. Honda had a Civic HF at one point.
I'll go ahead and include the first gen Insight tbh.
I would love to see Toyota do it for the Corolla hatchback.
Many European brands did that too tho... Volvo had DrivE, Ford had EcoNetic, VW Bluemotion/Skoda Greenline/Seat Ecomotive
They could afford to trim a few hundred pounds off the platform.
Those names are horrible, I love them.
Volvo even made a specific Dutch tuned version for Dutch tax rules, different gearbox, lower rolling resistance tires etc, just for 1 market
so with Volvo. Was it just pronounced drive, driv-E, driv-eh?
I love it.
True
As they had a bodykit for aerodynamics, and sporty lightweight alloy wheels
I really wish Toyota would offer the 2.0L hybrid Corolla in the US.
I'm willing to compromise
But I'm super annoyed the 2023 won't have a manual going forward.
🥲
Toyota gives no reason for it. It's stupid.
Sadly most are shifting away (no pun intended)
I accept that, but this isn't a new model in 2023. It's just a refresh.
And last I heard the HB take rate for the manual was double digits.
My dads friends has avrage consumptipn of 13,5kwh/100km in his model 3 long range 2019 so without a head pump. And thats the consumptipn since brand new here in sweden.
Then he must be the exception: the average on Spritmonitor is 18.8kWh/100km. It's possible but then you're only driving 70km/h on the motorway behind a truck basically
First time driving my brother new Abarth 595 competizione. Its so fast for only 210hp. In my opnion its so much more fun then a golf gti and its cheaper to.
That's only like 40mph right?
That wouldn't even be legal here
Exactly xD
Anything beats a VW
At 90km/h during summer it gets around 13,5kwh/100km if you are using cruise control. But thats for the model 3 long range 2021. But my dads friends is using his car mostly to drive from work and home so the avrage speed is like 70km/h. But he has done som longer trips to. While driving 110-120km/h which is the highway spped in sweden.
It will be a expensive ride
Best feuture is that the sport buttom says more fun instead of sport.
We will se its a 2015 with only 15000km on the clock.
Different platform so a 1:1 Abarth 500 swap wouldn't be easy, and there wouldn't be enough profit/financial sense probably
That has a 5 cyl no?
Abarths are nasty af and golfs are better with modifications so they get fast
I have driven a gold R with 620 hp and jesus its fast affffffffffff
But a golf r is way more expensive and it will probably not be so reliable with 620hp to. My brother has an golf gti club sport mk8 tuned to around 600hp as an test car at work and that thing is so dam fast..
many just swap it to the 2.5 tfsi but its pretty reliable
I dont like hatch backs but the golf R is a demon
That will be to expensive keep in mind that he is only 23 years old and he is saving up for his first apartment right know to. So he wanted a fun car that was reasonable price and that holds its value to. And most important low consumption because the gas prices in Sweden is no joke right know.
congrats to him the abarth is actually a really good car and very fun to drive
Any 620hp vehicular transportation is fast 😛
especially if it weights nothing
Well a Golf R is nearly 1500kg empty so not "nothing" 😛
Isn't the golf r pretty heavy ?
This is false.
Volvo FH16 750 would like a word with you.
xD
Difference is that the FH16 is hauling 60+ tonnes.
But the golf r I kinda boring to because they are so common like every car meet here in Sweden there is always like 30% of all the cars their is just golf r and they all have like the same modifications to.
yeah being unique is for cool people :)
https://crast.net/94160/this-sneaked-tesla-model-s-crash-led-to-a-lot-of-bad-decisions/ Yeah that driver of the model s was pretty stupid so he changed the breaks but only the front ones and he didn't change the break fluid to. Which is was recommend buy the company that sold the breaks to him. He should be thankful that tesla has build a such safe car that can handle a a crash at nearly 250km/h with just a seatbelt as a safety equipment. That just goes to show how safe the model s really is. The fact that he could walk out of the car himself without any help after a crash at such a speed is incredible. But who is the owner of that track that he used. They shouldn't even have let him on the track without any safety equipment while doing 170mph. But I guess people to whatever for views and clout this days.
It was just a few days back when we talked about the importance of safety gear on the track. Almost immediately afterwards, the owner of a heavily modified
I did suffer complete brake failure once, but I try to think ahead and I keep safe distance and engine brake a lot
Funny thing it happened after brake fluid change
<@&750150305383186585>
He literally said in the video that he crashed in that car was telling him that the breaks are to hot. But he ignored that and kept pushing the car to its limits. And he tries to blame the tesla for his bad dissuasions to. He should blame him self for going to track with nearly no safety equipment in a stripped car with all the safety devices disconnected. And no roll cage or racing seats with racing harness while doing 170 mph on a track.
And that the first decided to drive the car under water to later push it to its limits on a track. And then says that it is the manufactures fault that he crashed.
Ye. That's pretty dumb
teslas come with dot 3 which has a lower boiling point so they can have bigger service intervals over say dot 4 which is more common
So a car that can do 200 miles an hour has pedestrian brake fluid?
Stupid or not, the stock Model S's brakes cannot handle the speeds the car is capable of.
Go to https://omaze.com/throttlehouse for your chance to win a Tesla Model S Plaid and $20,000 and help a great cause!
The Tesla Model S Plaid ($191,090 CAD as specced, $147,990 USD) is the quickest accelerating production car on the market. Tesla claims a blistering quarter mile time of 9.3 seconds with a trap speed of 155 mph (249 kph). But w...
Wait. what? Why?
as I said it lasts longer
the higher performance fluids are generally more hygroscopic
I need to replace my disc brakes
But dot 3?
And iirc it can't be replaced with dot 3 or 5.1
why are lexus navigators so bad? it just said "downloading adress from the cloud" randomly and changed the directions entirely when i was going to nj and from what ive seen almost half the roads arent mapped
While I agree that the guy is dumb, the fact that Tesla even sells the Plaid with such shitty stock brakes is really embarrassing, I would hope that bigger brakes would come from the factory as standard
We can do this entire discussion from yesterday again: DOT 3 should not come from the factory in a 1000+ hp car. Even the smallest, shittiest cars produced in the last 30 years have DOT 4. Using that in a 2000+ kg vehicle with top speeds over 250km/h is a recipe for disaster. The brake fluid already comes on after 2 times of hard braking. Ignoring such a notification isn't the smartest thing to do, and no I'm not claiming the driver is the smartest sprout alive.
It would've definitely helped to swap out the brake fluid on the recommendation of that company. However, Tesla probably cheaped out on the brake lines also, and DOT 4 can dissolve those rubber seals apparent in the system. Also, he shouldn't need to swap out anything of the brakes to begin with. He should've been able to use the stock brakes and brake fluids on the track
About the "he should be thankful that Tesla has build such a safe car that can handle a crash at nearly 250km/h"... The gravel slowed him down mostly, and the other forces were absorbed by the massive wall of tires. You can even see how much those shifted from the crash. Now, I'm not saying Tesla's aren't safe structurally: they've shown to be quite solid. But he mostly got it to thank whomever created that track with runoffs and tires: with a regular barrier it would've turned out quite differently.
Also, go to the Nurburgring: you can easily do 250+ km/h there without helmet, rolecage, harness etc. And people do that. Also see this video https://youtu.be/G44sKUme0Kw, although he did slow down after his brakes basically faded away/brake pedal didn't do anything anymore, he could push it all the way down with nothing happening, neither did the regen brakes (battery too hot) (got the overheating notification earlier)
No car, especially with 1000+hp, 2000+kg, and a freaking Track mode, should come with DOT 3. End of story
I mean... What manufacturer increases power output by a lot without upgrading the brakes?
What manufacturer uses brake fluid which Fiat didn't even dare to put in a 1997 Seicento

Whats happening?
Any ideas for good hybrids for first purchase?
Model S Plaid crashed because the brakes did nothing, and now it's an "Elon is our saviour" discussion vs Tesla shouldn't have used prehistorical brake fluid in a 1000+hp vehicular transportation device 😛
Depends on what you budget etc is, but any Toyota Hybrid should be fine 😛
Doesnt the plaid come with like carbon ceramics oid?
I know that the car should not have that fluied at stock but you cant say that the car should be able to go around a track att such a highspeed only becuse it can go 170mph does mean that you should and not how how he did it. He litterly puched it to it limits after the car said the breaks where overheated and then tries to blame tesla. And only becuse the car has "track mode" doesnt mean that car should be on track it like saying that everey car with sports mode is a sports car. And saying that the golf r is a race car only becuse it has a race mode. And he didint even check the the new breaks before he started to go 170mph he just hoped it would handle it with the stock break fluid on track. I hope he learns from all of this and next time know that he shoukd have some safty stuff in the car before going suck a high speed. And when tiu turn on "track mode" it litterly warns you about the break issue and says that you should check the breaks before puching the car 170mph stright into a cornor. But the fact that he tries to blame Tesla over his own misstakes says alot about him.
Nope it doent becuse most owner doesnt want to track the car so the wouldnt want to pay the extra for it but they shouls have a extra option for it. On the website for the People that wont to track it but they dont for some reason.
aight so i have seen the video of the guy, but apart from the brakes failing this dude made all the wrong decisions and i would sat this crash is more on him then Tesla
That being said
if you sell a 1000hp car, like there has to be a adequate brake system there is a reason most fast heavy cars (s8+) come with carbons as standard and they dont even have a ''track mode''
i mean lets be real, he retrofitted the brakes himself had no roll cage, no helmet, no 5 point harness , missing rear seats (?) and boot etc
like this guy is very lukcy
I don't think that carbons is necessary for most plaid buyers. But they should have that as an option for those wo want to use it for tracks. But better breaks fluid should be standard and maybe brembro brakes like the model 3 and y performance has. And when it is in track mode and breaks goes overheated the car should be going in to limp mode so you cant push it to limits while the breaks are bad. So tesla has something to do to make it more safe while in track mode. But maybe it has this stuff but that guys cars is heavily modified so the safety things is probably removed anyways to save wight. But the fact that he first tries to drive the car under water and then think it is a good idea to use it as track car when he knows that it water damage on the car already. Can be one of the stupid's thing you can do.
eh idk i think if you make a 1000hp car you just need better brakes as standard, carbons are also better even if you dont track but just like to drive sporty
We can go back and forwards on this all day again, stating the exact same arguments again, it won't change anything. I'm also not trying to defend the guy, he's a YouTuber with a Tesla, of course it's a <insert not that smart person>
A way better braking system should be standard. And possibly ceramic brakes as an option.
And only becuse the car has "track mode" doesnt mean that car should be on track
Ngl imho that's very debatable, if it's not suited for track use they shouldn't call it "Track mode", they should call it "Very fast in a straight line without any brakes"-mode or something
i think it is weird for a 1000hp car to have ''optional'' brake upgrades 😛
Drag mode!
Preferably, yes
According to most plaid owners the think that the standard brakes is god enough for what they use the car for. For daily driving its fine with some sporty driving to but they are not fine if you want to go 150mph on a track but that's different story. Most plaid drivers drive the car as an normal car and do some 0-60mph to impressive people or friends but that's it.
Now it's like, "Okay, here's a track mode"
People: use track mode on a track
Tesla: "Oi you're not supposed to do that"
i get what your saying but ''it is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it''
Yeah custom sports mode should be better name for it then "track mode"
For the average buyer 300hp (or even 200hp) is also plenty. For daily driving that's fine. You specifically get the Plaid because it can do more. At least, on paper.
i found this article that more folks said it had braking issues please note it is from Dec last year
Most people get the plaid because it is an family sedan that can beat nearly every sport car on drag strip and that sounds cool for them. I don't think that you buy the plaid because you want to use it track car. And it doesn't even have good lap times either.
Doesn't matter, it's over 1000hp in over 2000kg, the braking system should be adequate. If every car was just specced for "the average use case", we'd be in a horrible state. And no, I'm not asking for it to be able to do the 24hrs of LeMans without any modification of whatever. But this braking system is worse than a 1997 Fiat Seicento
That's really unacceptable
It's the same as Tesla would fit tires which can only handle 190km/h on it, because that would suffice for the average usecase, and then argue that's fine when the tires blow out when going 230km/h
I never said that the car was meant for the average driver the average driver doesn't care if the car can beat some hyper cars on a drag strip. That's why average driver probably will go for the long range model s if they are looking to buy a model s. You are not an average driver if you are planning to buy the plaid. I just said that the average plaid buyers doesn't track the car and if they are doing that I think they are smart enough to replace the break fluid before going to track and that was Tesla recommends if you want to track the car and even says that you should check the breaks before turning on track mode. I think that most people that actually likes to track their cars and wants sedans will probably not even consider a tesla and go for an e63 or an BMW m5.
The average Porsche driver also doesn't take it to the track, but it's still capable of doing so.
Cutting costs on the brakes is just unacceptable and is one of many examples of what's wrong with the company's philosophy
Exactly this, it's not really rocket science at the end of the day, you have a high hp car that weighs over 2000kg, then just put in bigger brakes that can handle all that weight and braking from top speed
But you shouldn't base things off how 'most plaid owners' drive, because then you get this scenario where the car has brakes that are good for braking from like, 70mph, while the car itself is built to do 200mph
You should put in brakes that can handle braking from 200mph and all the scenarios below that are covered
I don't think there is anything bad with putting high end brakes on it, because I don't think there is a problem with having too much stopping power, but it's a serious problem with lacking stopping power
Its not build to do 200mph it can do 200mph that's a huge different only because a car do such speeds doesn't mean that you should abuse it that just common sense. If the continues to happened it will end with that they will limit the top speed of cars like volvo has done it the last couple of years.
????
If it is not build to do such speeds, It shouldn't be able to lol
That makes no sense, it's not built to do 200mph, but it can do 200mph??
I'm sorry but that's ridiculous
They are advertising its top speed as 200mph as well?
And even if you say it's not built to do 200mph, it's still capable of getting close to that number, and that doesn't change the fact that for those kinds of speeds you really need good brakes
Also, why would they put 1000+ horsepower in it if it's not built to reach, or at least get close, to that top speed
@stoic ledge see, this is one of the reasons why I believe Tesla isn't as good as they can be, because their fanbase will block any form of criticism towards the company, which leads to them continuing with their bad practices
Or BMW can do a 234km/h that doesn't mean that you should do it because its not made to be stable at that speeds anyway. Same thing with the plaid. Its like driving a Koenigsegg at 400km/H on a track a try to take a corner at that speeds and then blame it on Koenigsegg that it could not handle a track at that speed but the car has an top speed of 400km/H.

Dude... we aren't even talking about the same thing here, no one is blaming the Tesla for that crash, but we are saying that the Tesla needs bigger brakes to cope with its horsepower, potential v-max and weight
And a BMW isn't stable at 234???
Have you gone that fast before? I have gone over 280 in my friends 335i and it was doing it no problem. You are forgetting that most euro cars are built for the Autobahn where they have unlimited sections, hence they are built to handle v-max pretty well
Nope I say that our active tourer is stable a such high speed maybe in a straight line our like autobahn but not on track. So you have been going 280km/h on a track to ?
That doesn't reflect what you said though, you said "Or BMW can do a 234km/h that doesn't mean that you should do it because its not made to be stable at that speeds anyway.", you never mentioned anything about track
This sounds like the argument I had with my little nephew years ago... "cars can only to half the speedometer safely"... except their VW Passat, that was safe over the entire speedometer
So you are just twisting your own words now
Tesla is trash
And no, midnight drive, on the highway
They prove it themselves, so all good
They will literally reinvent the wheel and everyone will buy it
But its just a wheel

wrong its a wheel made by Tesla by Selon Meks
It's a nintendo switch retrofitted as a wheel

Which isnt what a car is supposed to do
its like buying a phone for calling and text or a toy that can call and text than the other brand

Honestly Tesla is just a fashion statement
We literally talked about a plaid that was crashed on track at 170mph. So yes we are talking about track usage and you should not drive that fast on track only becuse a car has an top speed of 200mph. Here is comment from his video before he blames it on the stock brake fluid. When it it his own fault that he changed the breaks without doing it probably and then crashes the car at way to high speed for that car on a track.
its like Apple but apple does it well
Dude... No one is putting the blame on Tesla in that instance, I already told you, you bozo
That crash was clearly his fault
Yeah by physically turning the steering wheel and thus the tires on the outside, wearing them out/creating flat spots
But it doesn't change the fact that the Telsa needs bigger brakes to, again, handle the power, weight and potential v-max
Sir the car isnt good enough for what you pay. If you pay 200k and drive it everyday you should at least have good break fluid by default
He still says that it was because of the stock brake fluid so yeah he blames tesla for it.
But he didnt put the fluid in himself tesla did
It should have better brake fluid at stock you are not wrong with that.
If a car has a track mode it needs track performance out the box
if it doesnt you clearly got scammed
Yeah, but I didn't say any of that? I'm saying it needs bigger brakes regardless
And tbh, he probably has a point
He changed the breaks himself it his reasonability to check the brake fluid. But that guy is pretty stupid the fact that he even takes a water damaged car to the track says a lot about him.
I mean what you do for views
Read the pinned comment on the video before the crash.
its all business he just made a video to make money he doesnt car what people do
So people are willing to take the risk their life for some views what is he supposed to do with the money and fame when his died anyways. And he probably loosed money and the whole thing anyways he bough a brand new 140k tesla just to drive it under water and trash it. Then put 9k breaks on it then wrecks it with that views he gets it wont pay for that car. And the latest video is probably demonetized anyways.
Tesla isnt a good company and will never be they act like a start up company with whatever they do.
yes
I don't think the crash was planned 🙃
People do stupid things like shooting a gun through a thick book and thinking that will stop a .50 cal
welp it wont
Youtube can make you a lot of money have a look at how LTT is doing
Inb4 remotely shut the brakes off
clearly not a small business and very much profitable
OTA, it's a feature
It all depends on the content and then compare the views ltt gets compared to that guys. If you are doing stupid stuff that leads to bad influence you will probably get demonetized. If you know that Alex choi video when some jumped a tesla that video got demonetized only because of danougers behavior.
Alex Choi has millions
His parents gave him the money
Google south Koreas untouchable families one of those families is his
Look at Rob Dham that guy doesn't make his money of YouTube he has a company that makes him money and make YouTube videos is a hobby or a side hustle
No one is stupid enough to make a video spend millions and make 5% back
I know that put thats not the point i was making. Provely that guys wo just crahsed his plaid to. Becuse he dosent seem to have any respect for money att all our his family to becuse he was risking he wole life just for som fame and views.
unfortunately that's what people do its stupid but no one is going to stop them
These stupid stunts may seem cool but destroying peoples hard earned money it just funny to me. Since those people dont know how long it can take to obtain that. Most youtubers that are rich just do stupid things and make money.
If LTT made a school they would give more knowledge to people than any other place on earth about electronics.
Still brakes better than a Tesla
lmaooo
I think this belongs here
Vteck
Otw to get this rn
White one was a pass but there’s a black one we going to check out same year
a6 ?
good engine chonk car
How much does one like this sell for in the US ?

someone on here bought a 80 if I remember correctly
I have a green 90
It’s now my winter shitter if I get an s4 even have studded snow tires for it
ayy nice Im a big fan of the old Audi shapes
I love em the 90 has a shit ton of aftermarket suspension handles like a dream
Dead battery 😢
This is what happends when car manufactures from germany tries to make electric cars. 🤣
Yeah cuz electric sucks
It really doesn't though
Why do you think so have you ever driven one ? In my opinion i would take an electric car instead of diesel or patrol if it is a regular daily driver. But for sports cars ice is more superior right know because they are lighter and the sounds the make. But the instant acceleration of electrics car is so nice when you are overtaking on the highway. The most annoying thing with a gas car most be the lag that most ice cars makes when you want to floor them or overtake someone it takes like 1-2sec until it starts to pull because they need to down shift and all of that. And that's is actually the reason why the Koenigsegg Regera only has one gear because Christan von Koenigsegg wanted a ice powered car to have that electric car acceleration from his Tesla model s P85D but with the sounds from a twin turbo v8.
I would personally stick to ICE for my primary/only car.
I can travel anywhere in the state without worrying of being stranded.
If you have the ability to charge at home it should not be a problem but in the usa its a bit harder because tesla hasn't opened their charging network for all evs their yet. Here in Europe you can charge witch ever ev that supports dc fast charging at a tesla station right now. So you can travel trough the whole Europe with any worries as long as you have a car with at least 350km of range.
Even with Tesla's network it's not enough.
There are 5 in the state I live in.
Every single one is along the interstate
You can still charge at home so for daily driving you don't need to go to fast charger. If you are not driving over the rated range every day but if you do so you should pass at least on fast charger on the way.
That's the thing. places where I want to travel don't have any chargers within a same distance.
300 miles minimum.
Traveling to a few other interesting spots in the state means 200 miles one way. No chargers along the way.
EV are not ready to be used for everyone
As a second car, an EV would be ideal. But in the colder bits of the US, EVs are far from ready.
Because in the dead of winter. That range gets cut what... 20-50%?
Have you checked the non tesla charger to they should at least be one fast charger available. Here in sweden you can drive trough the whole country while only using the tesla network. I actually thought that the tesla network would have been better in the usa compared to northen Europe. Or is it just your state that is has a low amount of charger. You can even go trough the whole Europe even with a the lowest range teslas here. But thats not ideal but a model 3 standard range + should be fine range wise for everyone here.
The network is okay if you exclusively stick to driving along interstates.
But there's more to life than the highway.
Most modern evs with a heat pump only loosed around 10-20% during cold winter. And if you preheat the car before going it can go even further.
Problem is heatpumps don't do great when temps hit -30C
The northern plains are the last great frontier for EVs.
If they can take root here, they can go anywhere.
But most ice cars doesn't even start in that temperature. And its probably not a good idea to go for a drive in any cars in such cold temperatures.
Here is an video of a kia e-niro in -40c in the most northen part of Finland and it starts without out any issue at all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE7oaYu9yzw
Just when you think it can't get any colder. The day after the -35 test, it is -40! -40 is where both Celcius and Fahrenheit meet. So this is both -40°C and -40°F. Do you think it will start and drive? Because remember, the media and the petrolheads constantly tell us that EV's don't work in the cold? So it can't possibly start in -40, right?
12th compilation! Enjoy!!!

In -30 degrees to ? I live in Sweden so it gets pretty cold here to we get like -20c some winters here in Stockholm to. But you are using a engine block heater when it that's cold right ?
sometimes
It helps, but I've started my Jeep in -20C weather in the past. Took some cranking
Yeah I se that they start but they are struggling a lot to most evs just starts even in those cold temperatures.
Once the engine catches it runs just fine.
Actually our Passat and bmw started without any issues last winter when er hade -25c but both car is modern and the Passat was brand new so it shouldn't be an issue. and none of the cars used any type of a engine heater before.
Engine heaters are nice to have.
will it fit...
If not, it will afterwards 😛

Intercity Express?

that is a very nice DBAG Class 406
So apparently there is f1 car from BMW for sale here in Sweden...
buy it

my god. that's just so scary
Oh what the fuck is that? how long has that been left in there
I guess that's why I see shit load of them
everyone just keeps them
they cost more than my Peugeot 307 SW
oh wow
I got it first time
Been on sale for quite a long time now
@stoic ledge buy it
Give me enough solar panels :p
You know that's a good question i wonder if there's a combination of a particular EV and set of solar panels where the solar panels fit in the car and take up a reasonable amount of room while also being able to charge the car fast enough when layed out on the ground
I just don't have enough

How to drain your phone even faster
Should not be a problem with modern phones specially the iPhone 13 line up. If my s21 can run android auto for more then 6 hours wireless on a charge. And iPhone is way more efficient so they can probably last 10 hours while using carplay.
But that's the Se it known for its bad battery life. They latterly put an the cpu from a iphone 11 into a iphone 8 without changing the battery to bigger one.
yeah pretty much
i’ve never quite understood why one would need carplay/android auto unless you’re like a trucker and want a massive navigation/gps gui
Because the inbuild navigation in most car is so bad so its nice to have your preferred phone navigation on the the screen in the car instead. And the best thing is that you can use google assistance or siri as an voice control while driving so that you can focus on the road instead of the infotainment screen.
my car's inbuild navigation is fine and has it's own voice control
Yeah but does it work as good as google maps or waze. and the voice control is usually shitty in most cars or doesn't work at all. The inbuild navigation in our passat is so bad bad that its useless and that is car from 2021 in our 2015 bmw the inbuild one is fine but a prefer google maps and android auto over it so we choosed to install aftermarket kit for android auto and carplay instead. But you can still use the normal infotamientso its the best of both worlds.
the in built satnav in my 2019 ford is fine tbh, but I only use it going long distances
Have you tried using android auto or carplay instead ? you wont regret it.
Yeah used carplay and it was alright, but only used it so I could change my spotify from the screen in the car lmao
And that another reason why android auto and carplay is superior to the inbuild one.
loved my carplay when I had my Sierra
Waze all the time when I drove any long distances, and access to podcasts app, text messaging, it was so nice
Which car do you have now ? There is usually a aftermarket carplay kit for most cars that already has an infotainment from factory so that you can get it in your current car to. Just check so it doesn't replace the old infotainment so that you still can use them booth.
Chevy SS. it's actually a Holden so it doesn't have the newest GM MyLink in it
basically I can just try to mount my phone high on the dash to try to get around that
ye the 2019 ford ones are good, my dad has a 2019 ford fusion and prefers it over car play
Just google it there probably a apple carplay kit for it we bought one for 2015 bmw last year and it works great. It makes the whole car feel way more modern and it wasn't that hard to install actually.
there isn't. I'm not only a computer enthusiast, I'm a car enthusiast
it being an Australian built car, doesn't have a full featured MyLink, so the silverbox can't really be hacked
You don't need to do anything with the regular infotainment just install another "box" that has os with carplay on it. That's how we did it on our bmw so when you start the car upp its starts on the regular idrive that we haven't done any medication to at all. But wheen you hold the menu bottom for like 3 sec it goes to the other after market infotainment that has car play and android auto on it. and if you hoold the menu buttom down again it goes back to the regular idrive (BMW infotainment) like normal and if you but the car into reverse the backup camra pups up as it should. So it works like a BMW that has carplay/android auto from the factory but it actully retrofitted. Without any "hacking" into the BMW software.
Yeah that's cool but there's no solutions like that out here for this car
Mine doesn’t have CarPlay but the built in nav from 2015 is very very outdated
when I’m listening to music over Bluetooth it reads me the directions from Apple Maps and works just fine
As I drive a supermini of 2011 there's no built-in sat nav/screen/.. xD
Well there was an optional unit but that would be tiny and outdated by now
I have the CD30MP3 😎
People that understand about cars
Is it normal that my moms car is slightly leaning to one side
My mom was away for a few days and i took the car for a short drive and not it feels different
The way i tested it wasn’t very scientific but on the left side i can fit my phone between the wheel and the car and the other side I can’t
Probably needs an alignment
She changed the rear tires a few days ago and the shop did a alignment
Maybe they screwed up
yes it's normal if it's the sidewalk side
they do that so you don't have a face to face if you fall asleep or something like that
I drove this car a lot and never felt it leaning to one side
What car is it ? on our bmw you can update the maps manually. And the car still has internet connectivity for stuff like traffic information. And it the point of interests is based on google so you can just search on the name off a restaurant and it will show up so you don't need to type in the specific address witch you need to do in our passat for some reason. But the navigation is still pretty complicated and slow and it looks a bit outdated because the car from 2015. But you can probably get an apple carplay/android auto box for your car like we did for our bmw. Witch make the whole infotainment feel new again because carplay/android auto updates with the phone so it always gets better overtime and will always look modern.
2015 Mazda 6
I’m pretty sure I have to pay to get the nav info updated
If you feel like it you can retrofit carplay and android auto it for like 180$ like we did on our bmw in my opinion it is 100% worth it. Because it makes an outdated infotainment modern again.
I would love to, I found a nice head unit with wireless CarPlay for like $300 but I don’t think my dad would let me, even though I have the money
he’d say I’ll break it or something ☹️
I understand my mom was worried to at the begging but if you are really careful and follows a step by step video it should be fine. There is a kit on ebay for alla mazda with the mazda connect infotainment and it cost likes 180$ But if you are going to do it check so that the carplay/android auto module does not replace the old infotainment so that you can use them both at the "same time".
I don’t have the Mazda connect I have the Tom Tom one before the Mazda connect came out
Apparently Mazda is offering a carplay retrofit them self on all cars that doesn't come with carplay from factory but has the Mazda connect system from factory. for "just" 200$. I didn't know that the 2015 mazda 6 hade the old infotainment i thought the changed it in 2015 for the mazda 6 to the mazda connect system.
yeah they started with the tomtom for a little then soon after changed it to that
Are you sure you don't have an exhaust leak
This house parking is tough because the opening is arched
So if you come in not completely centered it's bad news
what year is your bmw?
I have the 2014 third gen mini with the full idrive nav package
it only lets me navigate to home addresses
and theres no traffic alerts or points of interest or anything
I take it back it does have points of interests but it’s only gas stations and bmw service centers
I could but its a pain - just have to be careful parking
I just line up a spot on the windshield
You need the right tools
Yeah sometimes the generic stuff is lame
I made custom ones for BMW that let me compress the springs and still reach in with an average size magnet and pull the keepers
that sucks
BMW factory keepers are triple groove
Stock ones are not too hard to get in and out
but my Supertech inconel valves use single groove keepers and it's much harder to get them in and out
those are black nitride stainless but same effect
yeah the multi grooves are easier to install/remove
nah not compared to singles
Singles are deeper and need to be PERFECTLY aligned
the multi groove are shallower and conical so they will self-locate mostly
nope
have to drop a pair in
but with a small pick you can get the hang of getting them to locate
same - i've built about 10 - 15 engines now
each one I learn something else
yep that's kinda all you can say about it
you have to experience it
have you ever lapped valves
Its another thing where people are like "how hard should I do it, how long"
and its like "you'll know"
"right but how..."
"you'll know"
My fun when back from vacation is disassembling a $6k supercharger with no instructions to press on a new billet compressor wheel
no pressure
its an "ASA" unit
but its pulled from an Alpina BMW
kind of a rare/exotic BMW modifier
It's from an Alpina B7
I had an billet alcoa aluminum compressor wheel made
I dunno yet lol
Its very very very sharp
and fragile
Yeah you don't want to drop this
That's $1100
I am insanely clean when working on cars
especially engine parts
yeah I keep it clean or I freakout
exhaust leak/
failed exhaust manifold gaskets
Not sure how you can say it sounds like it needs more air
if it needs more air the O2 sensors would read rich
Hm not sure
I have to spend 15 minutes digging my tools out of my pile on the floor and in my two (inadequate) tool boxes before i can even start my task
Ahh i love this city, closing the mainroad in my village without any notice
Same here this weekend for a cycling tour... Although they did place a sign yesterday 🥲 But the 2 entry/exit roads to our town will be closed 🥲
4th time in 2 months
They closed it kinda oddly like if i get it right inside of the village its open but the two bits to the next villages aren't but they also didn't put any barriers or signs down inside of the village ~ aka you could just drive out of here you may run into a truck thats in the middle of the road but they just started today so nothing really is in the way
Upside to it
The village has the amount of noise a 200 population village should have
The loudest thing being birds by a far stretch
Its gonna be an annoying month if i need to go somewhere, a nice one if i don't
You had a partner before?

Hurl. Hate dealing with pallets.
Rolling containers

These things. I'm guessing.
Yeah. They are a nice hate object also.
Had one filled with eggs before. And the container buckled from the strap, and it fell over. Which was fun.
People are stupid. Some customer has filled in distilled water instead of adblue...
And ended up breaking a Audi A4...
Adblue is stupid
@fathom socket Have you tried reversing in 3 or 4th gear?
Kind of scary reversing at 12-13 kmh.
wait. it has 4 reverse gears?
The daf I drove I think had 2
Yeah. While you are stationary and in reverse. Try changing gear manually. Should be able to jump to 3/4 then.
I'll try when I have time
Can't go from 2 to 3 while moving.
I'm such in tight schedule I just won't make in 15 hours lol
Second gear for reverse is usually more than enough.
Gear 3/4 is usually just for reversing longer stretches. Wreckers probably use it on narrow freeways.
Imagine having more than two speeds in reverse
have fourty
12 forward. 4 reverse.
and I am
jeez
there was a hole in radiator then it blew up
usually stays here at 35c
ahh ok
even heat at max just barely helps and at idle it starts to go toasty now
it did when thermostat was broken
changing it fixed overheating, but later started overheating, but more slowly
My father is picking up what will be my first car today, excited as hell
Doing my license now so I cant drive it yet but at least I can like... change the infotainment settings?
which car is it ?
2020 Audi A1 Citycarver 25 TFSI
We got a really good deal on an almost brand new one that was used as a showroom car
That is really nice car to be your first car.
I am so stoked
I am so glad I stumbled upon it, it was a stupid good deal
It is a few hours away but it was 100% worth it
Welcome to the audi masterrace
Welcome to Audi my boi
How much was it the cheapest one is my country is around 20k but they have like 35000km on them.
My second car was a Audi RS5 still one of my favs
What do you work with your salary most be very good to be able to afford an rs5 ?
second car was golf 7R
I worked as a head programmer i got the rs5 as work car
20k euro, 4.5k kilometers
Considering A1 prices in my country it was stupid good
veryu niceeee
was it the old gen RS5? the good sounding one
An rs5 as a work car I would expect and a5 but not a performance. Car do you need to pay a bunch of extra tax for it because it is work privilege. My dad has is Passat as a work car in Sweden and he need to pay like 350$ in extra taxes to be able to drive it privately every month. That still super cheap comparing to owning a similar car privately. But on "performance" our cars with a big engine the tax increases by a lot we where looking at a Cupra formentor first because the price was the same as the Passat that we wanted but that extra tax for him would have been like 900$ instead.
Work car is usually brand new ones so probably the latest gen.
It's pretty decent here in tax
It's mostly Insurance differences
Here in Sweden the person that get an car trough their company. Only pays an extra tax every month if they want to use it privately but the company pays the rest including insurance and service and sometimes even the gas or diesel. But if they do that you need to pay an a bit of tax for every 10km you drive but its way lower then the current gas prices anyway. So having a car trough your company is way less expensive then buying it privately. As long as it is not a performance car then its cheaper to own it privately. And is electric car is super cheap to. But my dad hade an outdated policy when we got our Passat last year so we the car could just cost 45k at the most. But they have changed it know so the next car will probably be an electric one or maybe hybrid.
Ahhhhh common issues - my daily has all of those an up has
Just look at those as security features
Reverse not engaging prevents people from reversing out of a parking spot
I've heard some bad stuff about all Hondas auto transmisions
But not really expert in it
98-08-ish are famous for bad transmissions
The more power the more unreliable it tends to be
If you baby them they can last but if you drive them moderatly hard they are likely to be an issue
civic Si
idk
i figure based on the sheer amount of modded civic Si out there it would be super easy to work on
and they’re cheap and pretty efficient
manual as well

So I have the chance to trade my fully loaded truck for a Subaru WRX STI that has roughly 7k in performance mods done to it. I always dreamed of owning a car of that nature (not exactly a subi but still). Should I do it?
The dealership that is selling it has no clue what they have. I just knew what to look for and after the test drive I knew this car was no where near stock. It is easily pushing close to 500hp.
Trans but its not a big issue - well the trans in general is a big issue, but you can paddle around it by pressing clutch and shift first -> neutral, release clutch, press clutch again and shift from neutral into reverse
Anti theft feature 👀
Pretty much all common issues of an up are something with the trans, but well there isn't much more on that car
Well, it all depends on your circumstances, do you use the truck for anything that the Subie couldn't do?
And are those performance mods on the Subie done properly, in a sense that, the reliability won't be absolute garbage due to those mods?
Also, are you going to use it as your daily? Take in consideration that with the rising fuel prices, running a 500hp daily might increase your expenses quite a bit (depending how you drive ofc, but can't see someone drive a tuned car without enjoying it quite often)
I have two trucks, so that's not a problem. It doesn't have to be a daily, it might be depending on how fun it is. As far as mods is concerned, it is all name brand done by a shop. The guy who owned it was older and in the military. I would have records of everything.
It is a standard with a stage 2 or 3 clutch (I can't remember). Trans and clutch feels really good.
It does come with some goodies. He was planning on re-painting the car until he was transferred to another state. So it comes with all the paint I would need. It comes with a second trunk lid. He didn't like the wing so he purchased a second paint matched trunk with no wing.
In that case I think it's all up to you my man, sounds like a fun weekend car to me, and considering ICE are slowly but steadily going out of fashion
...I think this might be the time to enjoy them while they are still here you know 🙂
I agree. And with that lineup being discontinued here in 2023 it may shoot up in price.
What are the two trucks, and which one would you be giving up?
I hate that interior with a passion
If the future is electric, then the Back To The Future car has arrived—at least as an electric concept. The famous DeLorean DMC-12 gull-wing, stainless steel car is back from the reincarnated DeLorean Motor Company. On Tuesday it revealed its Alpha5 concept car as an all-electric DeLorean with strong Porsche vibes.

I am not running on Petrol/Gasoline I am running on diesel
Manual transmission and crank windows
Is that not common?
I have 2 cars like that, and a 3rd with an automatic trans, but crank windows.
You can buy a brand new truck with crank windows.
Nice
The base model F-150 fleet has them and it's super cool. No power windows, mirrors, locks or seats.
Yeah I'd definitely add that if I was ordering one xD
Aslong as your vehicle isn't a small aircraft that video is irrelevant
confused noises
pro gamer moves
self sufficient gaming chair
I have never seen that before
My grandfather who currently has possession of the truck told it it was one of the last models of the Silverado made with a manual transmission and its also paired with the LB7 Duramax
I have a 2005 f150 with an auto trans and crank windows
but sadly the trailes don't drive by them selfs for now
Ay, cool.
costumer states:
I've fixed the suspension my self
“took it in to another shop but didn’t like how quiet it was so i fixed it myself “
Lol
I had one like that
It was the base model of all base models
Noice.
I have that exact model but fabric seats and a 4 speed manual
4.2 v6
no tach which is weird on the autos as well
and idk if its on all the xl versions but most have elec trailer brake controllers
Costumer states car wiggles at high speed
At least in the US no, overwhelming majority of cars i see are automatics with lots of power things, especially if it's a new vehicle
Aviation sill uses a fuel that is 100LL or 100 octane low lead i believe, while cars are all using unleaded
Thank God they gonna give me 3 axle solo
What's so hard about it?
Never driven a trailer before?
Going to shit places where I have basically no space to do mistakes
It's just like reversing a trailer for a car. Just bigger.
Now that is their mistake.
Never did with a car, but I found easier to reverse with a box truck and trailer than semi with trailer
Take it slow. And remember that you are allowed to go out and check
That's what I always did
Except one time in UK when I wasn't able to do it at all because I had it was shit place
Probably harder because the trailer is max allowed length for Europe
Should put you at what? 18.75?
Selling this on Facebook marketplace it runs good just needs a little bit of work
I'll give you a can of pringles for it
Sheesh
If the engine would run, I would take it
Looks gm to me
Could make a thirsty power generator
Yeah, I didn't realize it was a newer vehicle.
its ford it says explorer on the side
Idk what is is it was on the side of highway 1
oh christmas tree oh christmas tree
Blinkerfluid empty
Motor warning light
Water dripping through the windshield 👀
I found the best car ever
Why is that 144p?
Yeah I only put 1.2L in my 1.2L engine
my gf called me once she was out of oil, i told her which one to buy at the gas station. She called be back like 20 mins later and asked ''how do you fill it the hole is so small'' i was like bruh where you trying to put it? she said ''the hole where the dipstick comes from right?''
i laughed
she cried
i went there to fix it
now it is one of those story's you tell at every birthday haha
met a guy in a 309 gld randomly
Nice
he had turbo xud no fair
you fill up the oil on my 205 through the dipstick : )
well, you take the dipstick out then theres a clip that allows you to take the top bit off to make it a big hole
Casual street parking my $250k suv
Vortec?
anybody know how to re program a keyless entry 2017 mustang? my friend has 2 keys, 1 works but is falling apart so she's trying to program a new key that she has but it isn't working... some say you need AT LEAST 2 already programmed keys to do it but there has to be a workaround.. right?
Likely you would need a dealer/locksmith to do it
Unless you have a relatively advanced scanner
damn that sucks
Look an audi with more cow 👀
You mean a Volkswagen 😀
Well I did not want to disrespect Bentley too much they're still good cars
The Volkswagen touareg, audi q7, Porsche Cayenne and the Bentley bentayga is on the same platform right ? Bit in different price ranges and quality each one is step up form the model under it. Maybe not the the Volkswagen touareg and the q7 in my opinion the touareg looks way better then q7 on the inside and outside.
Don't forget the Urus and Q8
MLB Evo
I think some "low" cars are also on it
Like the A6/A7/A8
Hmmm apparently the A4/A5 and Q5 also
But yeah probably smaller version of the MLB Evo
I don't make $20 an hour 😛
I make $25
Lol I'm obviously joking
Not my Bentley
And I don't make 25 hr either
HAH. One of my dream cars is probably the Toyota Century with a V12. At least for a nice cruiser.
Love me some luxury.
504 estate
Tbh who redesigns a beep
Wait tell your working on it and find out you need a $200 engine lift
What about transmission lifts
I think there just a simple scam
Imagine having a reverse beep
that vehicle is 2162 kg so the brakes are gonna heat up a lot aren't they ? what did tesla even think
That's why I've often said they should me drivetrains and sell them to OEM's 😛
Oh yeah Tesla Plaid had a ridiculous amount of issues at the track
the brakes don’t work, the power steering is garbage
they could only do 1 hot lap around the TH track because of how overheated the brakes were
hm im not good at this

Is this actually factory
If so, jeez, remove it
My dream car changes as i get them tho, used to be an S13 before i owned any cars, i got one, then it was a 911, got that, now it's a V10 cabrio R8
Cabrio R8 is interesting
And also obtaining my dream car is a unrealistic imagination
Lower goals get you there quicker, then you can make higher ones
Like I'd also take the lower end models of an alpina e30 but even those are kimda rare
Yeah XD
My dreamcar is now the Dacia Sandero
A new car you can just buy, old ones you have to find them in a good condition and then pay for it
Sure i could walk up to my vw dealer and buy an c8 rs6 but a modern car just doesn't have the same charm
Or scroll through car sites and find a decent c7 rs6 easily
The second car on my list is a first gen. fiat panda 4x4 which are in comparison extremely easy to find especially since i can just look at northern Italy
Great news!
Idk dude having driven cars from 2015+, 2000-2010, and 1989, i think i like the 2000-2010 stuff most
Maybe 1995-2010 as some of the models bleed over to 2000s
Like the C5 vette
Although if i could get a junkyard 70s muscle, i would
Refill the windshield washer fluid.
Told ya.

It's just that they aren't accessible once you're moving.
I've actually grown used to keeping a bottle of concentrated fluid in the truck.
Going fast in reverse is scary when you're in a truck. Can pretty much only do it on asphalt, and going straight.
I think I would better not do this
The only safe place to do this is under the base
At least it doesn't annoy me like daf
Also I find this to be a bit odd
I went up to 13 kmh in reverse the other day on a gravel path.
Still would really love to drive the FH for work.
Or even just the newer FM/FMX trucks.
Honestly I do like volvo fh better to drive, but they lack features dafs had
Also it doesn't overspeed like 15 kmh when it's set to only 2 kmh
For the cruise control?
Ye
The old FMX that I have likes to reset back to like 8 kmh overspeed.
Which is still too much for me. I like the truck slowing down to keep the speed, instead of going above.
It's probably worse for you, driving trailers. Since you're only allowed to go 80 kmh.
I was going downhill 91 kmh with cruise set to 80 with overspeed of 2
With volvo it keeps it at 90 kmh with overspeed of 2 when cruise is set to 88kmh
Yeah. That's nice. If you set it to a +2 overspeed. Then that's what it should limit itself to.
Hello, I have a little question. Is it better to have a 1 way speaker + a separate tweeter on the door pillar or a 2 way speaker with the tweeter above the larger driver just in the door?
I need to replace my car speaker because one of them had a little soaking moment and I can't decide which is better.
Or the tweeter can be on the dashboard as well but the point is that they are separate.
Spotted a truck rolling coal, so I submitted the dashcam vid to the state bureau of air quality (there's up to a $500 fine here)
real gamer moment
Both are good options if you can get good quality enough speakers
Be careful on fake 2 way speakers
Going fast backwards in a car is ezpz.
Going 20 mph backwards while weighing 60,000 lbs. That's a different story.
Normal 3 axle truck. Tipper truck.
This. Basically.
Anything and everything.
Yeah. That's not heavy at all. That's because we were moving stuff between work sites.
Maybe in the 7,000 lbs range there?
So volvo fm have sleeping cabin?
That's an FMX. A whole lot of dump trucks have sleeper cabs over here.
You don't really lose a lot by having them.
We have 1 volvo fm i think for close range deliveries
I should probably be going slightly slower if I want to continue being a no claims bonus enjoyer
its not a single track but its not exactly great
Many of the distributing trucks for local use are usually just day cabs.
But because of our lenient length and weight restrictions. That just means that we can use sleeper cabs with little drawback.
My truck has a sleeper cab, but I do so many local deliveries I might have no time to go home
I think I just saw the 210 BHP boxy Supra Twin Turbo in Indomieland just now
i don’t think 210 hp twin turbo 2JZs or B58s exist
Hate that stuff. They can't just expect you to be driving for 9 hours every other day.
They are
But more like work full 13 and 15 hours
Hell, you're only allowed to drive on average 45 hours each week.
It's more loading and unloading job
Yeah. I figured as much. But I still dislike any sort of distribution jobs.
I often start at like 2 am and end at 15-17
You... Are not allowed to work that long days when you're working nights. At least not over here.
Limited to 10 hours max if you work anytime between 1 am and 5 am.
Idk how it is in Italy, but I just wanna quit
You should actually look it up. Because if you're in a police control. Then you could get fined.
My boss was fined €400 for not having a 30 minute break before he had worked for 6 hours.
I hate this parking garage.
Look at the speed bumps they have.
I went into the place when they had just put them into place before. And my damn car bottomed out on them.

come to indomieland
we have plenty of those
... bone stock?
It depends on what you tuned it for.
^
You can tune it for the fuel you are going to use...
Premium vs regular.
If you tune it for Premium, then you're forced to run premium only.
You def want to go with newer engine honestly
But hey I don't know jackshit about most engines
Damn i love having roads that aren't wide enough for a cyclist and a car used like mainroads because they closed the actual main road
Imagine being a cyclist thinking you need to be in everyone's way trying to go to work
Lmao
E85 is only for cars capable of that.
I think that you meant E10
Most modern cars are capable of running E85 with some tuning. But a problem is that you use a whole lot more E85 to achieve the same output. Hence the need for larger injectors.
someone stole my cat, what the cheapest way to pipe across the gap?
I wouldn't be surprised if a cat comes in at the same price as the kia lol
perfect time to straight pipe it 🐸
Always when someone says "stole my cat" I think of an actual cat 🐈
People need to stop stealing 🧠
My catalytic converter is basically impossible to steal, it's in front of the engine 😛
Exhaust manifold and catalytic converter is one piece
You can easily see it from here, hard to get to. Too hard for thieves
Need to lift is and probably need to have the hood opened
I see replacements ranging from 400 to 1400€ lol, can't find an OEM parts that fast for it
Spoils , not the airflow but the look
Oof that's cheap
Yeah I have inspection and emissions testing too, idk how aftermarkets will work
But I'm just hoping I'll never have to replace it
xD
But, as it's with an exhaust manifold, can't really use universal parts
In the laps around the Nurburgring the tyres are screaming like if locked
So downside: expensive to replace
Upside: hard to steal

I've said it before: Tesla is electric mobility, not an electric car

Tesla is a tech company, not a car company
Can't even get their clocks right
