Yep of course. It comes down to what works for YOU. No prosumer/enthusiast detail product will "ruin your paint" without you doing it for it.

I personally don't like chemical guys products because there's just so many they can't all be very useful and really tend to be minor variations of formula from one another

But I wouldn't shit on someone because they like them

I use, primarily, Adams detergents (especially like their wheel cleaner, iron remover, and rubber/tire cleaner), menzerna polishes because I like how their abrasives break down under my polishing style, and then I'll generally use gtechniq ceramic coating or pinnacle waxes and sealants if not. Just what works for me. Ton of carpro for ironx,tax,reload,eraser,reload,reset,inside, etc.

But the actual product has very little to do with the result so when someone who claims to be a detailer tells someone they're ruining their paint because they own a brand of product tells me everything I need to know. No "product" is ruining anything and a detailer should know it's the process. It's ego/elitism like in any other industry except 95% of a result comes from input, not the product.

not as good as rally cars, but it does do it

haldex systems are typically FWD biased but these aren't to my knowledge
