1.0.TSI is fine is such a car, and power on paper is fine, but because it's a small 3-cyl turbo engine it has a large heavy flywheel and a big turbo -> lag, so the gas response isn't as great. Now that's with all modern cars, but those have atleast some displacement to counter that, and more horsepower so you don't really notice it

I think the Lupo GTI has more the original GTI feeling than the up!, yes

Also, higher revving the Lupo, so more rewarding

Completely different body shape (XC40 is more hunched in the back than the Polestar 2), cabin layout is different with the Polestar 2 having a high centre divider, and let's not talk about how the drivetrain for the Polestar 2 is a from the ground up platform where as the XC40 is an adapted platform.

Beyond that, are you really surprised that the Polestar brand (which is a Volvo subbrand) has taken a lot of design cues and shared SKUs (like the wheel) from their parent company?
