I did some research too and realised half the issues most people complain about came down to just poor maintainer and if you have some time to learn you can learn how to rebuild a rotary and from what I have seen while it has its own gotchas I feel there are just a lot less moving parts to worry about breaking on the road to power it seems to come down to mostly fuel system, fuel source tune and how many sides to the rotor you can stuff into it then throwing on whatever flavour of turbos or chargers

One of the main upsides IIRC is no engine parts flying through your engine head

I understand they are a little harder to get at in terms of space and gap tolerances but the over all process to maintain them is overall easier I think if you took the time to understand how as there is just a lot less parts to worry about in the combustion side.

at this point I am considering just getting a scooter

because I just want to commute 15-30km and not pay $30 in fuel

for like a 40m drive for the long hauls I will still use the actual car, but yeah for ducking into town for basic items or picking up stuff that fits in a backpack the car will cost more then a scooter

is 10km to town for me

Hence the scooter concept except my state its not legal without a bike lic mainland like QLD and WA it is legal to ride bike or scooter which does under 100kmh or something but in TAS no to ride anything with two wheels you need a bike permit on road which I think is a bit shit considering the kind of bike I wanted was just a 70kmh thing

Oh I don't have to commute much for work when I do I need the car because I have to carry a bunch of drone gear which TBH I could do that on the scooter for some jobs like residential inspections

But for larger jobs I need to carry the cases lol

Real estate stuff the Mavic Mini 2 will do the job just fine and that fits in my pocket

Yeah 55" TV's fit exactly in BMW 3er, I know it as I work in an electronics store and we load them in the all the time

The most satisfying I've encountered is a 65" TV in an Audi A6 Sedan tho.... it's a perfect fit, 0 space spared on either side
