UK :)
so its just a drag car
do you know what it does 1/4 mile ?
has a 60% built differential
yeah its like 9.60 with a street tune
3150 lbs and ~875 rwhp ish

thats pretty good id say
🗿
Needs carbon fiber twin disc clutch
Its a pain in the ass to go fast with
but I guess its fun
Its best I have a car where its a challenge to break the speed limit
needs a turbo
lol
turboless diesel best diesel
does it even do 60 ?
myeah
but only downhill im guessing
downhill
i bet its doing 50
well I suspect the stopping ability comes into play as well
it has no brakes at the moment but we test drove it anyway
always fun when you find a set of molegrips on a brake hose on a car you buy
no brakes because no one will stop me :)
Im trading my clean 305 saloon for this 305 estate
the ferrule is basically gone on the rear brake hoses of the saab
you can pick it away
get a refund
its just another way to fill the line
that is some rust
no for the 305
oh oh
I wanted a structurally challenged car to weld up and do a terrible spray paint job
i mean rust = free carbon fibre
rust is light tho
The paint is basically perfect on my 305 saloon
my 305 saloon doesent have a boot floor
bit of welding innit
light weight edition i see
Some say he made it all the way to the opposite side rear mirror
theres only like 25 total 305's on the road in the UK which is very sad
if only cavity waxing was discovered earlier :^(
I feel like its a message
my friend has like the only chevette saloon, he was welding it for a year.
Can I show you art?
im pretty sure there is a good reason behind it
Here. I present you art.
hmm idk how i feel about that
looks good but i feel like a smooth finish would be cleaner
but it looks good either way
My friend welds submarines, sounds an interesting job sadly he says id kill everyone.
i have never welded but it would probably be the same
good enough to get cars through an MOT
cars that are modded but it looks stock mmmmmmmmmmmm thats the sweet spot
40 under that paper and it will passing anything :)
sadly those days are gone :^(
Sadly?
its just a little hole
just say its for aero dynamics
@prime valve really should not grind welds
instead lather with an entire can of seam sealer
for body work, sure
haha yes
use tons of black caulk
aluminum that handles fuel and boost pressure doens't take kindly to grinding
TIG welding you generally don't grind
unless you completely bugger it
something to learn i guess
learning is fun sometimes
also wouldnt getting a 2jz in that bmw cheaper ?
its about the same when you get into it
its all the same when you open them up
looks like it wont fit but some loving
yes
are the internals done up apart from being bored ?
yah, all forged
is it a stock block ?
Yeah there are no after market blocks
is the power its at the peak or does it have some room?
There are guys doing 1000 - 1200 hp
I would probably be one if I had more time to dyno and did any head work
This is a 100% stock head (and cams, and valves, and springs, everything)
dam thats pretty good
Yah - not even any port work
really just out of lazy
Stock head bolts are 10mm, I machined the head out to take 1/2" studs but other than that its stock
Does anyone know if people do stuff to the gt86 to get power or do they just engine swap ?
10mm seemed fine to me
i like my metrics
although i live in the UK i still prefer metric
its just a I4 so not much power there
@prime valve the 10mm would stretch
yeah i know it wouldnt like the boost
also what boost is it running
Some guys have luck but mostly on like 400 - 600 rwhp builds
Its running about 28 psi
but it's all in the timing that I control the power
thats a lot of psi
Yeah - big turbski is only efficient on this engine over 22 - 24 psi
its 76 mm right ?
ya
yeah thats a big one
Yah
ECU is setup closed loop to target 26 psi, so when engaged, it'll progressively spray nitrous until the boost target is met
So long as nitrous bottle pressure is good, engine RPM/kpa are appropriate, throttle angle appropriate, it'll spray it - it has a very big, wide torque curve as a result
300 whp on an NA 4 cylinder?
Mercedes has an I4 that makes 400hp, so it’s definitely possible
its a flat 4
NA?
i think its got a turbski
nvm its NA
My old saab 2.0 B205 can do 275hp with just a wemap
Your green bmw looks super good
Thanks @stiff burrow
mercs 4 cylinder is the highest performing 4 cylinder
but its like super over engineered
Yea
plus i think its like 30% plastic
Best I4 is a B204
Lol
saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaab
Which Mercedes 4 cyl
LEST WE NOT FORGET https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_M12
The BMW M12/13 turbo was a 1499.8 cc 4-cylinder turbocharged Formula One engine, based on the standard BMW M10 engine introduced in 1961, powered the F1 cars of Brabham, Arrows and Benetton. Nelson Piquet won the FIA Formula One Drivers' Championship in 1983 driving a Brabham powered by the BMW M12/13 turbo. It was the first Drivers' Championsh...
The one from the A45s amg
its in the a45s
Ah, modern 4 cyl turbski stuff
yeah
BMW from 1983 is like "hi thanks for joining junior"
oh baby
The only time I'd run a 5 cyl is when a coil pack goes bad on my 6
2jz
Pretty sure my friends E39 540i was a V6 for a while
The only time I’d run a 5 cyl is if one of my cars somehow gains an extra cylinder or if 3 go out on the other :p
buying the cheapest 540i in the UK very smart idea
:^(
the M60B30... 3 liter v8
Its prefer an E34 and would own one but id have paid more for the insurance than the car
and thats with it being a 518i heh
it was a 5 speed aswell, I kinda regret not buying it anyway.
You say that like a manual fixes a shit car
Do you have a sound clip of your 530i @dusk ocean
It's a BMW, to like it you need copium and endless pockets
@stiff burrow Not handy - it's just an intake, coil overs, 17x10 wheels, and bad paint
Oh ok
what are Audis known for ?
Is the green car the 530? Or am I confused
@civic girder A manual trans in a 530i makes you forget for a moment how insignificant you are
Being overpriced VWs and shit
BMW is known for being expensive
@stiff burrow green car is a "525i" lol
Oh ok
Sorry - I have like 7 BMWs right now
I guess I should ask do you have a sound clip of that
That’s the one I want to hear the most
Oh lol
its not really a bad car
This car is a '92 525i with an M50 motor with 0.020" Wiseco Pistons, 8.5:1 compression, eagle rods, and an M52 crankshaft. It is running a T4 PT76GTS turbo @ 28 - 29 psi in this video and 93 octane lukoil pump fuel with 50:50 water/methanol from an Aquamist HFS-6 for 685.9 RWHP.
my dad has a 2009 a4 and he has 260k miles
my god, this man is a copium addict
My step dad had 380k miles on an E46 330xi and I tried to hide it from him because I was tired of fixing the front axles
Sounds good
my ears
🙂
im guessing its straight piped
The turbo 🤤
@prime valve No it has two mufflers!
Guy I know rebuilt his E34 motor bc it wouldn't run. And then it ran for like a week, then shit itself. So now he's rebuilt a 2JZ and putting it in instead
Magnaflow mufflers - but, it's 4" turbo back exhaust, so a lot of noise falls out
its still very loud
Well
I think if a rebuilt motor dies after a week its not quite the motors fault
Although everyone knows what cars sound the best 😏
This doesn't help
i am a fan
Merica power
It is surprisingly loud completely stock
I love the anodized purple accents
So cool
@stiff burrow I had a trans am
He did it by the book and everything was good. Motor seemed totally fine before the rebuild too, he just had no idea wtf else to do bc injectors, fuel pump, spark, etc was all good. Weird fuckin issue. Classic BMW moment
the C8 is one of my fav cars that are new
Nice
I’m jealous 😳
it sounds like it broke
How can you be slow with 800 hp 😂
I like muscle cars and big engines so in my book that’s a cool car
I think exhaust pipe broke on my 307. Like it becomes louder and louder with time
I remember when the exhaust fell off my mazda and I was looking around for the chav car
turns out I was the chav car
did you say muscle
Yes
Meriica
"It was slow"
"~800 whp"
That is some good ass copium, holy fuck
🦅
My dream car is a ‘70 Chevelle SS 454. Or maybe a ‘70 Challenger R/T
With the 4 speed
mint
but this
also isnt there one like this but full carbon and a Ferrari engine ?
I wamted to get a 535i
Honda civics at 3 AM
this is as far as you can get from a civic while still being japanese lol
Lol
Honda Civis are one of the worst sounding cars in existance
false
Actually I like the sound of your car
sounds like a lawn mower
I can tell you haven't heard a VW before
or a 350z
or redneck lifted diesel trucks
Clapped out Zs make my ears bleed
What is it
aftermarket header with aftermarket resonator and factory catback
Ooh
4bbl 1.2L rotary engine
Dorito Miata
vastly superior to the Miata in every way
More fun, sounds better, cooler, headlights don't look disproportionate and goofy, actually have legroom, hardtop is standard, and no power steering. Way better than a Miata
RX8 vs MX5 :^)
rx7 FD ?
Even comparing my RX-7 to an NC, my RX-7 is way more fun. NC feels slow even tho it makes a lot more power
Tempting to pickup an rx8 and put a saab engine in
you wish.
I like shitboxes that are cheap, not valued more than my brand new car
and I like my shitboxes to not overheat for fun
again, I like my shitboxes to not be valued more than my brand new car
well worth it
Impossible without an engine swap.
you can put NOS in it
Straight pipe Prius
Unless you know how to hack Toyota's hybrid system
it has been done
Yes, but its not worth your time.
but power
yea
i believe it should be
If you buy a Prius and do any modifications or driving with the intention of speed or power, you're a complete imbicile
There is a small part of me that wants a prius
Just cus why not lol
Idk if anyone else feels this way but sometimes normal cars are more interesting to me than enthusiast cars
maybe because you have enough of one
Prius are decent looking cars. Certainly better looking that a lot of other normal cars
Way better than anything modern BMW has made, that's for damn sure
true
same
I’m always more interested in reading reviews about civics or corollas than the latest Lamborghini or whatever
Even stuff like the M5
Lambos weigh more than my mom, so why would I even consider it
Lambos are Audis
I mean, Maserati has a car based on the Chrysler platform which is a 30 year old Merc platform they've clung onto since the Daimler-Chrysler days
like literally any german car does
BMWs are so expensive to repair its insane
so are audis
VWs are kinda cheap, but they're absolute garbage so why even bother
BMW is more expensive
Audi is ok id say but thats probably because im a big fan
Mercs are overpriced af
Mercs are so ungodly overpriced yea
I definitely want my expensive luxury car to ride like a 90s sports car on ebay suspension
audi a8
D3
its a nice car its comfy and pretty cheap
and the engine options
w12 6.0
v10 4.2 , v8 4.0
ah yes, engines that suck to work on, break constantly, and have vaporware parts
v6 3.0
Toyota v6 are indistructible
not fast, quick enough, and extremely reliable if you have enough brain cells to do an oil change every 10k miles
its a good v6
cap
but i prefer small engines
like a 2.2 t
or a 1.8t
inline 5
german
good
real good
Till it breaks
Honda, Toyota, Chrysler, and Nissan to an extent have brilliant V6s
Nissan absolutely not
you cannot convince me there is a worse engine than something branded as nissan
GM V6s eat timing chains, Ford V6s eat water pumps.
classic
At this point I'd take the V6 out of the Frontier over either.
I mean yeah.
Pentastar has proven itself.
It's a damn good engines all things considered.
But if I had a choice, Toyota every single time
Thinking Jeep will be replaced with a Nissan Armada.
Get me some of that sweet sweet V8.
true
I don't trust the big three for various reasons
obvious reasons*
A Nissan V8 is a nice sleeper hit.
Great value Toyota.
No comment on the cars, but I trust the trucks
but tbh I'd rather get a ls than a nissan
I don't think I would personally.
truck around it may be shit, but still better than a nissan
I've seen too many rusty GMs and heard too many bad things about the transmissions.
Transmission issues that Ford apparently doesn't share, despite being developed jointly.
Problem is the rest of the outlander
yes
Then again building the same car for 15 years means you should have ironed out most of the issues.
but you take that engine and use it in something better
if you fix the issues you wont have people buying new cars
If a car keeps breaking down on me, I'll go to a more reliable automaker.
yeah but if you buy it once its enough
Return customers are a gift. Don't chase them away.
You buy once, love it enough to recommend it to family and friends.
Take it to a dealership to get maintained because they treat you right. hasn't happened to me yet, but people go there past warranty
Subaru built an entire cult around the car being a family heirloom.
some guy in Poland got a s63s and it had a defective frame he suied them and he lost because that is the characteristic of the car
We bought all our cars used and not at dealerships
I bought my Corolla new.
Well according to VW 1L of oil per 1000km is also normal (1 quart every 600 miles) so nothing will surprise me these days

And if the Corolla GR is worth it, I know what I'm getting next.
yeah its dumb
but people still buy them
it actually depends how you treat your car
oil, filters
and so on
No people lease them as company cars as they don't care about maintenance as it's all covered, but afterwards it hits the second hand market people's wallets will begin bleeding
yep
For quite a few things definitely true, but those VW's all get it even if you treat it well
Hell they won't get it anymore, they all already had it
Not saying it's only VW tho, other brands also have had structural problems
But the 1L/oil per 1000km is fine statement is just

every company is bad in their own way
I'd say consuming the entire oil supply in the span of an oil change is exceptionally bad
Peugeot 3008
this car literally sets it self on fire
It basically becomes a two stroke engine then
where i used to go to college 3 burned down right infront of the college
Insignia, which engine?
all of them are bad
It's not a common failure for them to catch fire
the back seats dont exist
Nah they're not, a bit overweight for the 1.4T but otherwise not too shabby
Worse car?
my Dad's friend had an Insignia and it burned down
Chevy Impala
so make that 4
The fleet special
Wtf are you doing with those cars lol
oh and the last gen Ford Taurus.
how do 4 of the same cars catch on fire
Arson
Vandalism
he was driving it
Insurance fraud in that case
Some Passat owner being mad his car in the garage again for it's 300th oil change that year, chain replacement and DSG replacement
Couldn't stand a competitor still driving

he had the car for 3 weeks
DSG is garbage
nvm i was thinking of a CVT
I mean... I'd take a Nissan CVT over a Ford DCT
Ah apparently the 2.0 CDTi was recalled for a possible fuel leak at Insignia's
But so have beeb Volvo, VW's, Toyota's, Hyundai, Mazda's, Volvo's, Mercedes's..
you definitely dont want a German CVT
Very odd those all burned down near you
they were the CDTi
they have like 10 engine options
idk if all of them were that but at least one was
Oof VW is apparently recalling the brand new Taos already for fuel leaks and fire hazards

True but people somehow still think they're quality
Well Skoda/Seat/base Audi all share the same stuff
have you seen the inside of a golf
Why get a VW when the Skoda version is:
- less expensive
- roomier
- better looking
- better interior
Believe it or not, but it's the last "good" Golf (design/interior quality wise)
i like the a5 but it needs to be a 2 door
yes but it still looks ugly
honestly i would rather get a 370z nissan than a golf
same price both have an ugly interior
but the 370z has a better/ cheaper engine to mod
- RWD
and that
But same price?
RHD ?
Right Hand Drive

in other words we Broke
its cheaper
Most are from Germany
Well new sales, majority are company cara. Private owners don't buy new cars
We have an emissions tax on first registration
Which degrades over time
So when importing a used car it's lower
unpopular opinion i like the new golf, except for the touch/infotainment crap
i think if they replaced the capacitive touch buttons with actual buttons and fixed the infotainment system it would be much better
if you dont use it
Nope the infotainment is still incredibly difficult to use
i said "and fixed the infotainment system"
Want to turn off lane keeping assist? Let's go 3 menu's deep as there's no hard button
lol
ppl be like "wow perfect car interior 🤩 "
every german is complicated
Meh nah
BMW is generally fine... Mercedes was ok except the new S/C putting everything in screens
Opel is also fine and still German
this is the right pic xD
this one is ok
I like light interiors, but that's just too much
steering wheel inspired by mazda rx7 🤩
1st Cayenne btw
new one is cool
the new ones are nice
i like porsche they just look extra cool
me too
It's a Beetle
Runs
i am also probably in the minority on this one but i like the lucid air's interior too
I definitely like the Lucid Air
the steering wheel looks pretty bad though
It's amazing
It's the best 2-spoke steeringwheel I've seen
the new civic it actually looks cool
I hate 2-spoke and 4-spoke wheels, but I like the Lucid one
Can't wait to never see a Civic on the road
Idk not a fan of the Ioniq 5
EV 6 also looks a bit weird
especially the Si
Good cars, don't love the looks
yeah
Seen a few irl, looks worse than in the pictures
they took inspiration from the cybertruck on the back though
This was probably designed earlier
Tesla doesn't get to claim shit until they bring it to market.
Yeah they hint back to it
I kinda see it
But the Ioniq 45 concept was already unveiled in 2019
The new Civic looks good, but its too reminiscent of the Jetta.
Anyway. No one is stealing anything from Tesla's exterior design.
Tesla has nothing to offer style wise
to me the triangle back kinda looks like the top of the cybertruck
mainly the body panel alignment
Tesla has nothing to offer style wise
Ftfy
first car to have it
you may as well make that Tesla's design in general. Their interior's are just as worthless
It looks like a Chrysler
that is a r63s
only thing worthwhile with tesla is their powertrains. those are pretty good. but otherwise garbage
Sure, but my opinions on hyper minimalism aside, at least the Model 3 interior is unique.
Some Chrysler's were sold as Lancia's
And the Model S was first with the vertical screen.
That is one design element that's moved on to other automakers.
Volvo, RAM, Ford
Of which only Volvo did it right.
I'd argue not really. They were just first to the game. Only a matter of time before other companies rapidly outpace Tesla in a fraction of the time.
Pls gib physical controls
What makes Tesla powertrains so great tho?
Lucid Air is more compact.
Power isn't hard to make. Look at GM
Although I do like the Volvo interiors
Unique in an awful way, sure 😛
Scalability of platforms is something Telsa lacks
yea,
Efficiency, although BMW is also there now, and Lucid probably surpassing
the upcoming Toyota EV promises to be pretty solid too. Very long lasting
arent EVs just a one time use car
A future bright enough for Honda.
you really cant repair them
One time use?
what
You can repair em.
Yeah when the battery runs out you replace it with a new car

Which Tesla can you repair ?
didn't say they were great, just good. i haven't driven a tesla but from what ive heard and read, tesla seems to be the benchmark for fast EVs. their motors have "kick" that others dont.
Oop, time to sell the house brenda
Tesla isn't even the best selling EV maker out there right now
all of them. For the price of your internal organs and all your assets.

Tesla is more like stock market
if i remeber a 7 series BMW hybrid if the battery dies its a total
Could straight up buy a brand new Corolla for the price of a battery replacement in a Tesla
Stock market? More like casino
I did
Unlike the battery I can enjoy a Corolla
its like 20k usd i think
Same thing. You just gamble
its more than that but yes
Probably only because its ungodly expensive and not worth it bc the car sucks anyway
the battery pack is 13k usd
opinions on this? seems to be like a bolt replacement. base price $30k
case in point
why 13k
Would buy if it was sold here for thst price
Well priced, but being GM longevity and reliability is suspect
Depending on the battery size
range is also very important
better than the silverado ev, that's for sure
looks cool but the actual car will look 100% different
Give me 250 miles, and I'm sold.
I don't think so tbh
i can get past the strange looks on the silverado EV for all the features it has. especially the mid gate
That looks fairly finished as far as products go.
they say the "base range" is 300 mi but i highly doubt it is actually 300 mi
holy shit

yes, and my car gets 40mpg, under perfect conditions
With those specs I'd even import one
Then again other automakers don't fudge the range like Tesla does
yeah
Tesla's is from 100% to dead
interior
Other EV makers have built in a bit of a buffer
if batteries didnt lose range because of too much heat or too little id say they are nice
but i think this is like a drawing or something it looks weird
I appreciate the hard HVAC controls
Looks good
seems like GM is sticking with physical controls for their cars. i have a cadillac CT4 and they rolled back from entirely touch screen controls to hard controls
yeah
Everyone who starts doing all digital controls backtracks
Because all digital controls are objectively worse.
Less precise, looks worse, feels worse, and looks worse.
And is less safe
in another picture they look to be actual buttons
no idea what you are talking about they seem amazing
somebody in germany (i think) went off the road because they were trying to change wiper speed in a tesla 😬
its a great finger print magnet
this is the base model/white interior. i think the steering wheel just has big buttons lol
A physical knob/button feels better to use than tapping at a blank piece of plastic.
after months of use it feels like trash
oh... doesn't even look glossy
ofc
GM has no right to make something this nice
i was trying to be sarcastic
sarcasm doesn't translate very well
lul
i think they are just trying to repair their image and draw in new customers for their EVs
good
Because whatever r/cars on reddit may think
EVs are going to play a huge role in our future
yeah
Tho I have mixed feelings on killing all gas engine development.
Seems premature imo
its a money move at this point
hopefully the ultium platform is good, GM has a deal with honda to manufacture EVs for them
Honda fucked up
is honda and acura the smae company ?
yes
ok
Toyota at least has a viable EV to be sold soon.
The Honda e is a meme
Honda showed us what they can do... and did nothing.
Honda e underdelivered like crazy
No surprise.
acura is to honda like audi is to VW
it has a hdmi port
It's an expensive super mini
aaaa
Buy an ID.4 and still have enough left over for dinner
honda e be like o_o
Imagine buying an ID.4
id consider an id 4
Enyaq > ID.4
what the hell is that
The Skoda brother
Better interior
Bigger
Less expensive
Better looking on the outside
oh
honestly all cars now look the same
A.k.a the better ID.4
well if i wanted an enyaq i'd have to import it just like you would have to import that electric chevy

not really
Everything in the 70s and 80s looked the same
they had some difference the only thing looking different is the headlights
Ford Falcon to Chevy Nova
The only difference the Germans had was the shape of the grill
It was all boxs on wheels
It's just one box had kidney grills
The other had a big grill
Now one has a massive kidney grill, and looks horrible.
i think my favorite looking EV right now is the Audi RS etron GT
oh look, it's a Passat
same year
the taycan looks so good but the headlights look like some 2005 emo girl's makeup
they have wheels and doors
Common styling elements of the late 90s
Big upright grill, upright tall green house.
one is round
fairly boxy
They're both fairly boxy tbh
And are more alike in styling than a new Corolla vs Civic
i disagree
Yes, and you can't ignore the biggest market on the planet.
real similar
nearly identical
i thought they were the same car at first
If I cared nothing about cars I'd assume they're made by the same company
and hard top
The differences are subtle.
other than that i see no difference
its like the gt86 and the brz
or wrx or whatever it is
yes collab but the only difference is the badge
If you look, there are always subtle design elements being passed on generation by generation.
90s went slightly blobby
70s was boxy and chrome
00s we don't talk about
i like boxes
10s/20s LED lights meaning very narrow headlights, intricate taillights that usually have a swoop, and a fairly large grill
Mazda and Toyota are both excellent examples along with Nissan. Honda scaled it back a bit, but the upped their lighting game
🥵
Mmmm
That Merc evo 2 is just
nah 560 sec amg for me
i want to own a amg at some point
AMG Hammer.
i like it but it is to old 😛
You're just too young to value the finer things in life.
i said i like it but i also like tech things in cars
Cringe. That's a 5 series.
But to be fair. Same size as current 3 series.
there's no better way to attract guys than with a cool car
s6 snowed in
I want a s6 next car 100%
I don't like the understeer of the Audi's.
Toyota hybrid?
2006 rx400h - had a minor accident a while back and then when i was away it rained for couple weeks
Its identical to 2006 Toyota Highlander
toyota harrier*
highlander is another model.. or was it the eu one..
oh ye sorry - i think they may be actually same model - stylistically lexus is different... still probably lexus is a straight upgrade (unless you want 7 seats)
Guy at my old job got an ES350
It's literally a Camry I believe
it looks, like even sheet metal, like one.
ye - fwd gas powered base ones same drivetrain.. not the hybrid tho
It's the same platform and basically the same size as one. Generally I think engine options are similar, but the Lexus does have different styling and a much more upscale interior
Finally some snow
squares are hot
i knew it someone will understand
ooo a nice square
I dont have any pics of my MK2 since its currently just sitting without an engine and has been for 3 and a half years now
there is a mk4 jetta at my uni and it is so slammed to the ground im pretty sure a speed bump will destroy it and its static
My MK3 is static
its slammed but not as much as the one at my uni
like less than half of the wheel i visible
currently have BBS RAs
look pretty mint
I look like a mess in this lol, had to rip the front end off my car in the middle of the night before this
at the camping area at the show
project cars are never finished
plan this year is to build a better turbo setup for it
not sure yet if I'm rebuilding the engine yet or waiting
what engine was in it ?
what power can you get out of it ?
Stock is 90
People have made closer to 200
My goal is to get close to 300 at the wheels
but the torque is good
there's someone a few hours from me who built a very similar engine to over 450whp
but it's really heavily modified
pretty impressive from 90
this is what his engine bay looks like right now
between the massive custom injection pump and the 2 turbos you can barely see the engine lol
Those watermarks are so tacky
the turbos on this car are very large
its a compound setup
Borgwarner S357 and S471
so a 57mm and a 71mm
feeding a 1.9l
pretty impressive for a 1.9
is it more expensive to actually build than a petrol ?
Sort of
Elon Musk thinks vehicles using LiDAR to detect objects is “lame”, “frickin stupid”, “a fool’s errand”, etc., yet his cars fail to detect children in the middle of the road.
In the 1950s, there was similar opposition to using seat belts.
