I changed my oil every 3000 miles I've already saved enough money for a new engine that has 35.000 miles from a 2004 S10 pickup that got rare ended but engine is saved. my 2003 S10 engine still holds at 496.788 miles. Just hope the engine is the same to fit in correctly. It's a 4.3l V6 engine surprisingly reliable if cared for.
