Nah man, identical engines
None of our Chevy diesels have it and those are as new as late 2024 I've only seen it on my 2025 Denali Ultimate
There's like 12 variations of the L5P
17-20 has 2 versions (Denali High Output option, and Standard)
21-23 has 3
24-26 has the rest of them
All the denso common rail engines have a form of rail shut off/choke though
The 2024 Duramax is good on mileage. But it ain't crazy. 22 I believe is the highest most see on the highway on a good day.
Anyways being a bit off topic. Would you really recommend a diesel when the guy is doing a lot of offroad activity. Like logging roads or ranch work? The diesel is a heavy beast and hard sprung.
Diesels have torque which is a double edge sword off road
Once you're in 4 low, even a 4 cylinder with 100HP has plenty of torque.
You don't see guys with jeeps or Colorado's complaining about lack of torque in 4 low
And 4 low can get you up to 60KMh+
idk about that we've had to being out the diesel 3500s to unstuck gas 4500s in the mud before because the 4500s can't catch on anything while these 3500s get in the same mud and just dig themselves in further and then either get stuck worse or pull backwards
we usually just tie off the recovery winch to trees n shit to pull them out where possible though
(started ordering trucks with a recovery and pull winch after we got the F350/F450 crew cabs about 6 years ago because they'd get stuck a lot worse than the old RAM single cabs we had)
Usually on a job site there's 2 or 3 trucks so it's not a... Huge issue anymore
This can simply be driver inexperience or stupidity. Too hard to tell. HD trucks are not usually what you want to go into deep mud and shit anyhow.
Let's just say, the power wagon is not a diesel to this day for a reason
We do a lot of renovation work and sometimes back when we did foundation work we got trucks stuck in 6-14 inch mud
And the power wagon don't care
These are crew cab 88" chassis mainly so they get stuck quite a bit easier
the power wagon is a double cab 64" iirc?
Or is it a crew 58"
I forgot rams r dif than Ford and GM for chassis length uhh
6'4 bed crew is like a 62" chassis?
(power wagon is 6'4 crew)
crew cab 88" fits a 10' utility bed or 8' pickup bed fyi
I'm not a big fan of the ram or very big on how they're built so forgive me if I'm wrong about length
I don't have a problem with diesels. You just need a fairly specific case to make use of them these days. Its almost niche with how capable the gassers are. I see a ton of people overspending on a diesel when they clearly don't need it.
This is the only RAM I've had for awhile
I'd like to just standardize both companies fleets on diesel to save on fuel
I don't have enough gas vehicles in either fleet for the bulk gas to get fully used before it needs treated
More logical to eliminate the gas stuff since we HAVE to have diesel for some stuff
But are you really saving overall? Maintenance, initial cost, DEF fluid, diesel prices, etc.
It looks like all your trucks are new. That's a lot of extra cost up front you're paying for the diesel.
I buy bulk diesel for $2.10 a gallon, initial cost is pretty close on fleet trucks from GM, again fleet trucks so I don't have maintence costs that's on the dealer since we're replacing them the second they're out of the initial maintenance plans
Fleet is a completely different discussion from regular consumer
- I just buy chassis cabs when we phase out every 3-5 years and pay a company to move the utility beds and flat beds onto new ones
Bulk fuel, completely different discussion
Yeah I mainly worry about fleet stuff. I just drive a diesel 3500 for a pickup truck personally because it'll do anything I need it to do without worry
I would love to do this personally and build my own vehicle up
We get 2-3 vehicles going through a utility bed before we have to replace them and 1-2 on the flat beds
The flat bed tool boxes usually get torn up at around the 7 year mark
Its REALLY cost effective to do this btw
$800-$1200 per vehicle to swap a bed over to a new one and $50-60K per vehicle every 4 years isn't bad in a commercial setting instead of $70-80K to buy them with the bed already
Do they have air purifiers to clear out the smell of farts?
PFFF
Old cars had these from factory
Good question I don't actually drive them very much personally
You just open the cigarette window and no problem
sometimes I drive one of the 4500s but usually I just drive my personal truck or my Jetta to job sites as needed
I did drive the Camaro too for awhile till I learned even if I'm signing someone's paycheck they won't respect my shitš
No corvette?
(tractor with a carpet fork fitted on it put a hole in my door)
I want another Corvette just haven't found a C4 how I want yet
Bring a ZR1 to the site and you'll be respected
Usually my daily drivers are newer vehicles and then I have a nice classic car for show n stuff
oh btw if you know about commercial stuff how do you feel about case's heavy equipment?
My daily these days is a Yamaha NMax 160. Most fun I've ever had driving and cheap as hell to drive even if I'm hooning it
we just use 1-2 equipment trailers with aux tanks on the 4500 hauling them place to place to move heavy equipment
Case is great. Had many of those in my younger years. But now we're going back 20 years. So I can't speak for their new stuff
(I've also got a expedited shipping company but that doesn't really go through vehicles or equipment fast)
ah we just bought a whole new fleet of case equipment in 2018
only had issues out of one of the diesel tractors everything's been running great
wayyy better than the JD and CAT stuff it replaced lol
Actually here's a question. Why not just get some dues and a half trucks for half the price and drive something literally indestructible?
We have 4500s for what they're needed for (1 1/2 ton)
That's small truck bro
5500s too for some stuff like hazardous waste
And double the price
you mean like a semi?
requires more expensive insurance and extra training to go over a 5500 š
They ride on 46's
never seen them tbh
But the price of the truck is half
we used to have some 22 ton military trucks but got rid of them due to shitloads of maintence
Most of the shit these trucks r doing is just moving people, tools, and supplies or junk around on large trailers so
ever pulled a 18' dump trailer out of the mud while it's stuck on a half sideways Silverado? That is a... Complex experience
That's oversized
After seeing that I stopped questioning how things get destroyed because someone finds a way
2.5 are where it's at
Yeah but they where a hold out from when this company opened in 1989 before my time
they where from the late 70s
2.5 old military trucks, fully rebuilt ground up are like 50k
With a CAT engine and customized to hell
I've had pretty nice experiences with the 3500s ngl
they're not for hire so I don't have to badge them so my employees can just drive them to a hardware store and I don't gotta worry about shit getting stolen off themš
But hey, just throwing it out. I won't question ya
Theft has been the lowest with conventional trucks in my experience main reason to not change anything
Your employees will love driving an old military truck and all the looks they get
You gotta think about maintenance
Plus the sound the CAT engine makes is ridiculous
We've always got sub 150K miles newish trucks
they're getting sold off after 150K or 4 years
To fully rebuild one from ground up is 50k. You can't tell me the savings of 50k wont pay the maintenance
NGL it probably won't š
Commercial dealers r insane with what they'll cover
the same Silverado that was half sideways with a trailer on it ended up with a bent receiver and the dealer replaced its receiver same day for $870š
50k maintenance in 3 years, you need new mechanics. These military trucks are dumb like ox
I literally have ONE company mechanicš
These are always new vehicles I just take them to a dealer for work
Ill do basic shit myself like oil changes (I have a few other people that used to work for GM dealers on staff that do this too)
There's your problem
- aren't military trucks 2 seaters?
Hire mechanic. After 4 trucks, you'll have saved money.
that's when the vehicle passes it's dealer coverage plan yeah but again that never happens
Depends. You can spec them literally however you want
Oh fr?
I didn't know that. The old 22 tons went away after we had someone get hit with a baseball bat by a crackheadš couldn't fit a reasonable amount of people on them safely to have someone ready to call 911 after stuff like that
Military trucks are made to spec. Some carry 20 dudes. Some carry 6, some carry 2. But they also have so many add ons like PTO and being able to power entire work sites, the combination is endless. It's not the same as walking into a dealer and saying I need a truck.
I'd rather have 3-4 people on a vehicle so that there's always more than one person to call emergency services
They're not like, okay what do you need it for?
Explain your situation, they build it
y'know how many times we've needed to power an entire job site with more than one a single 40A generator does?
One and it was already planned for cus I bought 2 military multi fuel generator trailers at an auction in 2016
Its like building your own PC vs going to someone that sells you a PC. You go in, tell them what you need and want. They build it to spec
That's exactly what these trucks are kinda built for
I like the current fleet because there's never just 2 people at a single place there's always at least 3 (fits with the company emergency management plan requirements) and secretly transporting company property too
And CAT engines love it
I had someone come in and design a new emergency management plan after 2 work place accidents happened back to back and general consensus with literally everything was never have less then 3 people alone
It seems not many companies look into it, when it's kind exactly what they need
Commercial dealers treat people very well.
I won't deny that either
haven't had to BUY def in like 4 years now since the dealer always supplies a maintenance plan involving it
But that's business. Military truck builders will also treat you like you're the only customer in the world though.
- as long as we can get the truck onto a car hauler the dealer picks them up for maintence
I've only had to tow 2 vehicles ever
If you're needing 100+ trucks a year though. Probably best to stick with fleet
its about 70 every 3-4
You might get away with it
Really just depends how the year goes I've had times back when we used Ford mainly that we had to buy 20 trucks a year sometimes
And your need for new might drastically drop once the guy binding for you starts to understand your needs the more he builds and sees what problems happen
- you have to idiot proof everything.
can't place a first aid kit in the same place in every vehicle? In the case it's needed the dumbass that needs to find it can't find it
assume the worst when setting things up and make EVERYTHING as similar as possible
Yep exactly
people that are working off MD trucks only work off MD trucks and the same for HDs purely because a few things are in different places
when I wasn't assigning people to a specific type of vehicle we would do stuff like medical emergency prep and half the time there was at least a crew that couldn't find basic shit like a first aid kit, clean bottle of water.
All the 3500s are identical except for a few not having cruise control rn, all the 4500s and 5500s are identical operation wise
purely so if you can't find something it's genuinely your fault.
I remember back in 2021 we had someone that had worked for us for 5 years with a "CDL"
police officer escorted the vehicle back, the person who was supposed to be driving had a "CDL"
YEAH NOPE FAKE FUCKING CDL š
how he got caught with said fake CDL? Backed a fucking 12 ton tilt back trailer into a ambulance
(my area doesn't do impoundment on commercial vehicles if another person is able to take over)
they did impound the trailer though because it was evidence in a crime
(this is why at least 2 people on a crew have an appropriate CDL btw)
oh we don't "need" new trucks when we get them
its 150K miles or 3-4 years because that's when I've learned they're the easiest to sell off after replacing them
I'd have no problem going to 300K or 10 years but the thing is by time that truck is retired I'm only able to sell it off for like $6K tops instead of $20-$40K directly to the same commercial dealer I'm buying new at for around $50K-$60K
I donāt believe so
my car didnt pass MOT/apk, 1 rear seatbelt had a small tear if you can even call it a tear and license plate light was broken, they asked 710euro's for it at first and with a secondhand seatbelt they asked 427.... i repaired it for 68euro's š and it passed right away
Iām so happy we donāt need to do inspections on shit
I donāt even have to do emissions
@tribal sphinx I stand corrected, yes if it has the 12 inch screen you can use them as a display on the rams
I tested it on my take home rig from the department and it worked. Thereās a hdmi port in the upper glove box as well
oh they have an HDMI too?? That's cool as fuck
Atleast the 2025 2500 thatās assigned to me has it. Iāll go check a few of our wildland engines later.
you can only use laptops on the GMs because it's USB C only (drivers side USB C port which is the 100W ones)
Probably hasn't changed since uhh 2018
since that's when the uconnect radios last changed
Iām wondering if itās just because itās an SSV rig
Could be. As far as I can tell itās only on the 12inch radios
Ssv is a special service vehicle. Itās a factory built upfitter ready rig for police and fire
I've got a 12" in my 2022 Limited longhorn which has neither USB C or HDMI
That make sense
If you see a ram used by police or fire, itās probably an SSV which is a package that gets rolled into any trim you order and has upfitter stuff already installed for radios, emergency lights, etc
Ah
But yeah itās got a full size hdmi port in my take home rig
Damn that's cool as fuck
Might need to hook my Xbox up in there lol
on the GMs it's only a USB C and can only do video when the vehicle is in accessory
Granted GM has had automatic battery charging for about 10 years now
(engine turns on and charges the battery for a few minutes if the battery voltage gets too low)
I'm guessing they put the HDMI port on the SSVs for nav systems?
ProAce city with truck plate
Reminds me when I put a MOTd Saab 900 up for like £450
this car is 900$ and needs a bit of front suspension work, needs tires, and burns a quart and a half of oil every week (toyota 1zz things lmao)
suprisingly out of all the horrific cars ive had ive never had anything that noticably consumes oil
maybe a litre or so per 5000 miles but a lot of that is leaking
Well I did have a diesel car that tried to consume the entire sumps worth of oil
Saab I sold was actually a decent car suprisingly
Fairly new matching mid range tyres refurbished nice alloys ran well just needed a rear axle due to being rotten but I included one with the car but the rest of the car was rust free
boring safe handling and too reliable, had to go
exactly how i feel w that vibe iām selling lol
i was gonna demolition derby or dirt race it and junk it but itās too nice (can still be dailied)
Or for the laptops cops and fire command use
Not sure really
hey. i got a new car. check engine light is on. here's the codes and some readings from the sensor. do you think its just a bad oxygen(lambda) sensor or is it more likely being a bad afr or some air leak in exhaust system? (so the readings are correct and there is more oxygen than supposed to be)
got a new sensor and will install it soon but i dont have the correct size spanner. i think i can borrow it from the shop during oil change, its a simple part to replace.
has 214k kms so expected lifespan of the sensor is over(if its not replaced before)
Welp. I pissed my mom off lmao
Left the car lights and radio on without the engine on
So the battery was pretty much drained enough that the engine couldnāt start up
AAA came and jumpstarted the car up
AAA guy also said the battery might need replacing next year. Itās about 4 years old. Original.
Probably about time if itās just a regular lead-acid battery
Yeah itās most likely regular lead acid. Itās original
dude the people who showed up to my place drove over four hours from chicago, spoke no english, then bought it, asked me for the oil I had in the garage using translate (i said hell no thatās my oil) backed the vibe into the pile of shit car they drove all the way from chicago to northern michigan, and left
whatever though lmao itās their car not mine
Buying this tomorrow
01 xterra
3.3, 4x4, auto unfortunately
jump on it
You donāt have to replace lead acid batteries pretty much ever if you know what to do. Get an old battery charger that doesnāt have any safeties on it, open the caps where you put the acid in, turn the charger to the highest setting and boil the acid and it will clean the oxidation off of the lead. I know a guy who has had the same battery in his old Chevy for like 15 years and it works good as new
Painting time (again)
Caps? What ancient batteries do you have?
Plenty of batteries donāt come sealed still
feature not a bug
my dolomite has a servicable battery, looks fairly new.
Looks fine to me
let me guess mitsubishi eclips cross?
i got one as a rental while my car was in the body shop and it broke within a day
got an āupgradeā (if you can call it that) to a nissan rogue that was a billion times better
Outlander Sport
My grandparents were renting it while their Ford Edge was in the shop, just got it back today
The Milwaukee tool gods got me again

I love polishing my tool
New shit
i have too much milwaulkee shit
most of it is plumbing tools n whatnot but my goodness iām in love with the m18 air compressor for tires n shit
great offroad
engagement bait fr
lada lol
Only leaks oil in 1 place
fella didnāt have a tow hitch (canāt tell in my sort of terrible video) instead, he tied a strap to the bottom of the trailer tongue, wrapped the strap all the way to the frontof the car, back over the hood and roof, and tied the shit out of it to the top of the tongue, and proceeded to drive down the road like that
ProTip:
you can't just put any type of bulb in any type of housing that isn't designed for said bulb.
Reflectors aren't designed for LEDs, but LEDs can go in projection style housings.
Also, remember to check your headlight alignment.

Different Types of Headlights Explained
Headlights play a significant role in shaping a car's overall appearance and personality. Their design can contribute to the vehicle's aesthetic appeal and help define its unique character, making them a crucial aspect of automotive design and styling.
Headlights today are undergoing some of the biggest ...
Our team noticed a dangerous new trend: More and more vehicles on the road with their headlights or tail lights off. We documented multiple examples just about every night.

My point made perfectly. If you can drive manual, this Viper at the end should walk that truck every time. The fact it takes him 3 tries to win just proves the point how reviewers often do not actually know how to drive a manual.

So many reviewers today trying to drive manual and I can see instantly they cannot. And then they have the audacity to even put out videos trying to teach people how to drive manual. Revving the shit out of the car from every stop to Get going.
Even on a 80HP firefly I never needed throttle to Get going unless on a hill. Same goes for a 70's celica, a dodge neon, and a Mazda miata. Also you don't need to guide the damn shifter into 3rd! Ffs I see people doing this all the time. The shifter self centers itself. Shift as fast as you want from 2nd. Just push up without grabbing the damn thing. Use the ball of your hand by your thumb on the left side of the shifter and just push up. The shifter naturalky goes to the center and straight up to 3rd. Practice with the car off, you'll see what I mean. You'll hit 3rd gear every time. Don't cup the damn shifter!
You don't grab a shifter, you guide a shifter
I can shift faster with 2 fingers than people who grab it by the hand. Its ridiculous
Slow is smooth.
Smooth is fast.
Dude also shifted really early. When all of the power in the top end for the Viper
Slow isn't smooth if your revs drop below where the next gear ends up and you let the clutch out too fast and you get a jerk
Nice bicycle tires, what's the width on those?
155/70R19
If the rims weren't so big they wouldn't even look narrow
Same width as a 15 inch rim, basically.
what?!
These tires suck ass. tbh
The winter tires on my E46 were much better.
The E46 didn't even have a functional ABS/TC
vietnam flashbacks intensify.
E46 was honestly really easy to drive in the winter, never close to getting stuck. tbh
Narrow tires can be pretty good in snow
Rubber compond makes the biggest difference. tbh
Of course, but look at the tires they use on winter stages in WRC, always narrower
Aye. I know. Best tires are ice lake tires. Super studded.
The best tow rig, 2012 Jetta wagon TDI 6MT tuned and deleted
Towing with not a truck is underrated.
Average Jetta
100% I have 14k stiffness swiftsprings in the back specifically to tow stuff, the euro-spec tow package says with stiffer springs it can tow up to 3500 pounds
Looks too low to me still? idk
Too thick for winter? I've always been told you do not want wide tires on snow because it means you need to displace more snow to get to the pavement.
If I can find a spot to keep it I wanna get a cheap aluminum car trailer so I can tow my drift Miata to the track with the wagon
Yea itās lowered in general about 3-4 inches all around, the fitment is bunk rn because I have my stock wheels on
Just doesn't look like the suspension is doing any work with how stiff and low it is. idk
I like a smidge lower. But that's a bit too low for my own tastes, especially if you're towing.
Itās only slightly higher than this normally, with rolled fenders
I think my E46 was lowered an inch. Juuuust enough to still be useful. And not scrape all over.
Still scraped on some speed bumps.
The actual ground clearance is pretty decent, VW built these things like monster trucks because of the golf alltrack awd model being marketed as a crossover to contend with the Subaru Outback and such
Even being as low as it is I only ever scrape my hitch, no subframe/body scraping ever
I think it with my front subframe with some stupid speed bumps?
Hereās me exploring logging trails in Oregon
Some of the speed bumps in the city are insane and I take them at angles just in case but Iāve never even really had issues if I take them head on, but I do know some of those older BMWs had insanely low subframes for some reason
That has to be one of the best maintained logging roads Iāve ever seen lol
All the ones Iāve driven are tank trapped/water barred to hell and back
They do pretty well in Oregon, that was pretty early on into the path so I assume they keep them clean so the trucks can get in and out easy
Or just mud and rutted out
Even on active logging units I havenāt seen a good road
This is 1 inch lower from stock. And with 17 inch rims from a BMW X3.
225/45R17
That pic was taken in roseburg Oregon roughly here https://maps.app.goo.gl/cvPxMsVgNt2YPbZZA?g_st=ipc
@open terrace this is an active haul road on one of the units I manage
If youāre ever in the area, super pretty
I know theyāre actively logging in some parts that are marked off limits with gates, idk if theyāre turned the older parts into drivable trails or what
Iāll come through once a month with a saw and clean up the sides and anything thatās fallen across the road way, but still
That IS a gated logging road
More pics from various adventures
Ohhhh thatās far into the active logging area, yea thatāll do it
Yeah. These are all from other units I manage
I've heard they give grip equal to or even better than racing slicks on asphalt

Wow. Decently surprised. Thought this channel would be full of electric Tesla shit and those shitty Chinese cars
there we go
yeah fuck that lol
Genuinely cannot stand them
People reviewing those Chinese pieces of shit just makes me piss myselfšš
āOh yeah mate what do you driveā āA BYD mateāšššš
Such a joke
Buick?
They donāt make those anymore do they
We never had them in the UK, but pretty sure they were under GM so they were called Vauxhallās here
Opel in mainland Europe
they make buicks still (just crossovers) i actually own a modern ābuickā which is a rebadged opel insignia
it was their last sedan here in the us
oh yeah they ride so nice lol
They were made under Vauxhall brand, had one a few years ago as a rental, drove 800 miles across UK in it and theyāre so comfortable just a shame about the reliability
here in the u.s theyāre not too terrible reliability wise, worst thing is the 8speed/9speed auto
Theyāre all manuals in the UK
šš it wasnāt me this time
That's exactly what you'd want me to think š
honestly the deer damage is gonna stay, itās really just a battle scar for that car at that point
No Turbo D badge
hell yeah
They donāt badge them in the UK
They just say Insignia
They used to badge them up until ā18ā plates
I really donāt like US plates
They look cool but you canāt tell the age of a car
Unless Iām wrong
if i had merc money iād buy one i cannot afford a cheap german car right now š¢
keepin it to domestic shitboxes for the time being lol
Your Buick is a German car
Well I tell you something, mine is a 74 reg which is late 2024, and Iāve had a lot of issues with it, been in for warranty work about 6 times
Luckily I paid extra for 5 years warranty.
š¤«š¤« besides my buick
I didnāt know Americans use the word āMercā thought you guys called them āBenzāsā over there
oh i call em both
That looks kind of nice for a shitbox
sometimes people confuse mercs for mercuries and not mercedes
Iāve never heard of those, we donāt have that brand over here
yeah itās really not too bad besides the deer damage and the breaks are incredibly soft, and the shocks are blown out
old people owned it before me and just parked it
My buddy crashed his C300e last weekšš
This is why you do NOT do 110mph in a 40 zoneš
No wonder it's nice then
steelies look so silly on modern cars but i donāt hate it
Looks kind of nice with black steelies
Police Interceptor spec
also learned the oem fuckin lugs are two piece chrome pieces of garbage that swell (wtf was wrong with single piece lugs and why does every new car have two piece ones)
Sorry, I hope he's alright.
Wtf is a 2 piece wheel lug?
an abomination.
basically aluminum/steel lug nut with a chrome cover over it
what ford has that get destroyed
water gets between the two layers, corrodes, and suddenly your lugnuts are no longer a standard size anymore
"Hold on to your lugnuts its time for an overhaul!"
let me see if i have a pic of mine
Please do, I don't think I've ever seen something like that here
At least not that I can imagine
hmmm
i wish the person who invented this has a moist and warm pillow
Aha, looks like a bad idea indeed
At least you have lugnuts
I hate lug bolts with a passion after all my BMWs
this is what we call a skill issue
oh fuck lug bolts š
praying i never own anything with them
I don't think I've ever had a car or changed a wheel without lug bolts
I have them on my cars its only really a issue when the disc retaining screw is missing
Never had an issue tbh
It's so slow and sucks when the center fitment is too loose after 30 years and the wheel keeps falling off or spinning when you try to put the bolts in
Ain't nobody got time for that
I put studs and nuts on my E46
Should be a little concerning if a hub centric wheel is that loose
most of the older stuff I work on is tighter with alloys corroding and whatso there.
Well some wheels are heavier on the outside than others
Only time it hasn't been much of an issue has been on my E46, but the lugnuts are superior in every way, so on they went
studs are better but its never seemed like a big deal maybe 5 seconds extra to line up

The heavier the wheel the more annoying it gets imo
I work in a shop, we get these daily. Drive the socket on with a hammer. To get it off, leave about a half turn on the threads and move the impact up and down
You people complain about lugs, how about faulty liquid withdrawal and filler valves, Sherwood can kiss my ass about reliability.
Noted lol iāll def do that next time I run into these awful things. I ended up having to put the socket into my vice and beat on it with a punch to get it unstuck from the socket
My grandma's Pontiac G6 had those awful lugs, 6 snapped off when I rotated the tires, and the new ones from the parts store are at least in one piece incapable of separating like those things from hell.
you know what these lugnuts remind me of? Rover used LITERALLY plastic screws for one of their engines...

I am BACK with another video on our YouTube Channel featuring the Kugel S600!
The Base of this Car is a 2020 E63 S Modell but the Exterior is from the Mercedes W100 600! It combines a modern engine and interior with a classic exterior look!
Big Thanks to @KUGELwerks for the access!
Check them out on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kugel_w...
do you know whats the worst about this? the donor car is ACTUALLY the Mercedes 600 Grosser...
the body atleast...
@blazing rover gah damn, it takes them being next to eachother to realize
those cars are big! Luckily with '26 regulations they get smaller
Not just road cars and people that are getting fatter apparently
Anybody done any sound systems with ground loop isolators? Wondering if one would solve this sort of thing. It follows the rpm and switch clicks and stuff
I love it when parts made of unobtainium break right when I start needing my truck every day for the foreseeable future
my dream car:
ayooo, its FORD :D
Ford factory and development center in Nippes, Germany
ooo wow, I am also from germany :D
the new Doge Charger Gas version just launched, and itās awesome
Sage My Father had a Focus ST that and itās little sister fiesta st were amazing
First mod should always be new solid lug nuts
Itās unfortunate that those capped lug nuts exist
Hey guys just stopping in for a quick second I have a sleeper f150 build Iād like some opinions on itās currently full bolt on on e85 Iām gonna send a vid of a run on a backroad
I appreciate any feedback yall have have a great day or night whatever time zone you guys are in š
My opinion: video is way too dark to formulate a real opinion.
Thank you for trying at least
what sort of opinions are you looking for
Any opinions will do
why does this look like AI
Idk. I don't think it's ai but I could be wrong
I can't post memes in channels?
correct. go read the rules
I have to reread the rules then. I forgot the rules. Damn you short term memory loss
Get better soon
Cool collection though
only when it comes to classics, if id want a sports to daily i really want the new M2 I like it more than the M4
thanks
There's probably a rehab group for this somewhere
There's probably also a rehab group for this aswell
im gonna remove my in a parking lot hell yeah, i got kicked out of my storage unitš
Lil baby test rip. I gotta get a new throttle body due to a vacuum leak
I also wanna change my turbo inlet pipe to be titanium so it makes fun noises
God I miss operating that skidder. We had rubber track pads for it when we would have to take it on public roads to get between different logging units
It would do a whopping 30mph down the highway
not technically a car but my trusty work buggy exploded on me today lmao
Got a new toy today
Crowd control Mobile? Nice.
Try not to run anyone over though.
Drove my sisters car yesterday. And boy is it a world of difference between a Mk7 Golf and the i3S.
They are very different cars after all. One a state of the art subcompact EV and the other a very traditional tried and true compact ICEV/PHEV
With a terrible high beam.
Halogen i guess basciallyšÆļø lights
That's most cars, if it's not terrible for the driver it's terrible for everyone else on the road
A bit under ā¬400 later. And the i3 is serviced.
I make no promises lol gonna try and get the lock on taken out
Meanwhile I have LED lights, and an extra LED bar as well...
i donāt mind the snow tire steelies tbh
Iām loving it so far
The first few things Iām doing is upgrading the head unit and exhaust
Iād get steeda h pipe if youāve got active exhaust
If not I think people run awe mufflers so that itās not too obnoxious
I got a h pipe on mine with active exhaust. Perfect setup
if they do that I would prefer it not to be murdered out to death..
Iāve been looking at valvetronic
Genesis G90 Wingback Concept
have mercy
Hyundai need to stop
Genesis the looooong way
And the xud9 is gone
noooo dont doo it
I just paid £800 for a XUD9TE to add to my stock, getting up there in price.
i love the power but i cant get it to pass inspections and its also 200euro's more per month for road tax than a petrol, i think i will save it when i get a oldtimer frame
Shit one im glad I dont have that issue
R is for round
I need to fix my chevy
Watching MF Ghost, doesnt even come close to being as good as Initial D
initial d was the first anime i ever watched and it's what helped me get into cars and i still kick my feet like a gossiping schoolgirl with excitement when i watch it nearly 10 years later
Clean engine building environment
š
I now own 12 sw20 mr2s š¬ partouts this time though
But why? There are other fun cars in the world too
These cars make me money
I see, didn't know cars were supposed to do that
i need this tow rig so badly lmao
iāve been shopping for wedge trucks with little success
My buddy built it. Itās an old box truck. Rear half of the frame dove tailed and a custom bed on it
But I still have yet to drive an affordable car I enjoy more than these
honestly iām to the point where i might do that, or strip an old motorhome and build ramps and a flatbed for it
my tow pig is dead in the water and I really donāt care for trailers because my driveway (and the road leading to my house) is just a glorified two track with nowhere to turn a trailer around
It worked, down from $550
lil early christmas gift :)))
much larger than the stock one and it just bolts right in
gonna have to find someone or somewhere to get it tuned at but that shouldnāt be a big deal
common cause?
It's something in the design of the engine and oil passages if I remember correctly
Lack of oil changes or something?
Which blob of shit is this one?
Sorry I mean which engine is this one?
Nah. Itās pretty well known even when properly maintained those engines blow up. Hence the lawsuits and major extended warranty coverage. My friends sonata is on its 7th engine⦠under warranty
wow. My moms '20 Palisade has like 70 something thousand on it now.
7th when is lemon law meant to kick in?
š well past that. Itās at 90k miles. But yea 2 didnāt even make it 1,000 miles due to manufacturing errors
First motor popped at 10k
He doesnāt care. He gets to drive a new car almost every quarter of the year while it gets fixed š
I'd have made the dealer take it back after the 2nd engine blowing, no matter how much it'd been driven
If your warranty fix doesn't fix shit you can fuck riiiiight off
Unfortunately Indianas lemon law he literally missed the deadline. It would of qualified but itās too old now
Heās keeping it for another year then ditching it for a Camry
Meanwhile my 94 corolla is still not dead
Even after I ran it for a whole day of work with like 1mm of oil on the stick
My lil 95 Tacoma keeps ticking
2 clutches and thatās 4 timing belts. About due for its 5th. Itās a reliable steed

my friend had a sonata on its third motor, couple days after it got its third motor it was totalled by a drunk highschooler in a jeep wrangler
Needs more camber
Real
Also
u should hexaturbo swap it, 106L diesel generator
hear me out-
nuclear fusion powerplant swap
We already have made steam powered cars
You can only boil water so efficiently
who needs fancy coolant water does the job

it does great till it freezes lmao
need to get some oil in those brown parts to protect the block from corrosion
They could really make head unit adapters a bit shorter, considering almost every install needs 2 and the stock wiring is already plenty long enough to reach the unit
They could... but have you seen behind some people's dashboards? š I ponder how more fires haven't started in people's cars.
Those people didn't use adapters
I mean you get two of them to put together so just shorten it yourself before matching up the wires?
oh I guess your style uses harness clips - in that case, yes they should save the money on shorter wires. haha
I come from the day of needing to supply and crimp your own butt connectors. I mean usually they'd even have the wire pre sliced so you just pull off the little bit of plastic - unless you made it shorter first. But the longer wire also made it easier to re-use both halves if you wanted to swap the radio in the car or move the radio to your next car and just buy the car side half for it.
Yeah brb lemme cut up the wiring I bought specifically to not be cutting up and crimping wires
Most cars i had they had cut wires for the radio, and always just twisted with tape
iāve never understood why people do that versus getting the 9$ plug and play harness that doesnāt force you to do that lmao
Traffic sucks
Spent my day repairing a dent on my new project car (2010 crown Vic police interceptor)
They are actually implementing pay per mile road tax here didnt think they would actually do it
just for EVs and hybrids though
seems like one of those "we dont know how to do it yet" sorta deals though
if it stays at 3p per mile I suppose that's not too bad, doesnt help the supposed ev cost savings though
Seems the "ev cost savings" thing is now over given the prices they charge outside of home charging
It would have been hilarious if they brought it out for all cars as I have had loads of stuff with broken odometers etc
here the road tax for ev's is going to be more because the are heavy and "destroy" the road
we dont take weight into account yet but maybe we can bring a 4th vehicle taxation system into place to spice things up
and a 5th footprint based taxation system
I mean, the f150 lightning weighs about 34%more than the gas one
if we scrapped the emissions based one and replaced it with per mile I would be quite happy tbf
in theory you would get taxed the same even if you have multiple vehicles
they do to an extent, but the real issue is just greater volumes of traffic I believe
I kinda like how they do it here. Your annual or biannual registration costs more if your rig is going to have a combined weight over 10,000 lbs
the way we build and maintain roads is just shite now, a consequence of excessive privatisation
"""but competition"""
I really loved them having the M9 to M8 west link closed off with zero warning due to overrunning their time
Me being a bad boy

Soooo, 75 mph is bad?
Interesting. Thatās below highway speed in some parts of the state I live in

Ohhh nooo 120km/hr
McLarens are nice. They use ones like this for European tour some. Top gear show. All the episodes.
These are like the go to compact eu cars Iāve been in one years ago.
was visiting my folks for thanksgiving so i figured iād take some parking garage pics lol
Was the Fiat supposed to give way to me or how does this work?
Actually no.
Because you make a special manoeuvre (§24 Art 54 RVV)
Thought all traffic entering a roundabout had to give way to traffic exiting
But the truck made it a bit awkward bc he was going so slow
multi lane wide round abouts are so weird for this. Really should be right turn only from right lane. Either right lane must turn right or left lane must not, don't care either way.
Multi-lane roundabouts are counted as a a normal multi-lane street, if you want to change your lane, then you have to yield for them.
You can basically treat the roundabout as a main road, where everyone has to yield to enter.
Ideally, you change to the outer lane before you need to exit.
You had a small chance to scoot up next to the truck as you noticed as it was taking the same exit as you, at least if you were certain that he wouldn't need the lane you were planning on taking.
Idk how the laws are there but here outside lane is left and straight only, no rights (RHD though so opposite there)
And you indicate when exiting
Iāve had trucks take this exit a bit wider so I just kept behind. Ideally the fiat wouldāve gone behind me in my lane.
But I just kept my eye on him as soon as he entered.
Itās a bit of an interesting roundabout
Can't go in circles.
I did this before. U have to steer very violently
Which negates the point of the turbo roundabout
Why would you want to do a circle anyway
neat I like
The worst part is that roundabout has 5 exits in very narrow angle. (One is like 25° ish) and 2 of the 5 entrances have 2 headed traffic signals that works only in rush hour.
You're in the left lane as you enter, but you want to take the first right.
That's just bad driving
Be in the right lane
A good driver rarely misses their turn.
A bad driver NEVER misses theirs.
Hand in your license and sell your car
Wdym first right
Its the third exit
You can see 3 others take the same route as me
How'd you end up in the wrong lane then?
They mean the first exit from the wrong lane
Ah yeah
So going all the way around the roundabout to do it
There should be a sniper tower next to every multi lane roundabout shooting anyone that does this
I donāt think its necessarily illegal. When I was doing my first lessons my instructor told me to just use the right lane to go around the roundabout because its easier.
Same roundabout
How is doing a full loop around the roundabout easier?!?
I mean using the right lane to take the third exit on a double lane roundabout
Its bc u dont have switch lanes frim the left lane to the right to take the exit
I do it alot to cheat traffic, fly up lane 2 loop around take 1st exit
Usually it's the 2nd exit that's blocked up so I'm not really affecting anyone
1.9d swapped hand truck
I'll buy it to add to the collection, there's more outside as well
Shipping wil cost more than the engine i thinkš
Probably, Spain has a lot of good ones for sale often I need to head there with a trailer and pack it full
I put it for sale for 900 with a second engine en people will not give more than 500
If it's a Bosch pump set up that's £400 on its own regardless of the engine
Sadly its a lucas
Ah, 2p
And the 4th one will bring to a castle. Have been there many times when I was a kid
Haha yeah
Pluk van de Petteflet play attic iirc
Alright, what are YOUR personal speed/lane rules on the freeway, compared to your local traffic codes/laws/rulesĀæ
none of this the left lane is ONLY for passing then ya get the fuck over
there shouldnāt be any āpersonalā opinions cuz itās literally the law (unenforced, I usually see cops cruising in the left lane on empty highways because they donāt give a fuck)
Left lane is hammer lane. Right lane is for slow fucks. And the shoulder is for every other lane is blocked and the wee woos are on
Seems pretty obvious to me, throttle position sensor is fucked
Also what kind of gremlin takes a screenshot of an image taken in snapchat
Well this TRANSMISSION (hope you like that mods) is somehow still shifting okay with the fluid looking like this, 1-2 is a little slow but no metal shavings on the magnet is a good thing. 4L60e for the win, also found that cheap dip stick in the pan, never buy off the shelf dipsticks, OEM only, so it can rust in half again.
I'm not allowed to use the word that trucks use to slow down.
Same with how you can advance the timing, and you can ... The timing.
Whoever at GM designed the 4L60e filter seal, I am not pleased, I'm going to the hardware store for some half inch piping and a tee. https://youtu.be/luBFAfMKd1A?si=w2-XSTT6SJXaeIi1
2001 Tahoe, 5.3L with 4L60e transmission. The trans filter seal is ALWAYS difficult to remove. This method makes the seal removal SO easy.
Don't you know - transmissions aren't serviceable, they want you to replace the entire vehicle.
It may be time to replace her but I think I can get one more winter out of her
good lawd
That's just the salt side the unsalted side looks a little better
also it was a joke about how they intentionally build things to not be fixed now. Things like the sealed lifetime transmission
salted, unsalted, it looks like cheese not butter!
Oh trust me I know my brother got the test drive new Fords for his job for a while, once they get past 100,000 they crush them.
I mean it was a used car but maybe I'll get a southern one and get an undercoat on it
shit iād buy it when youāre done if you were in mi
need me another woods/offroad toy
I did not just spend two trips to the hardware store to accomplish this as much as I would love to sell it I'm keeping my beautiful s*** box.
It took waaaaasy too long to get that transmission filter seal out I should have bought a longer pipe in the first place...
Now the really fun part getting the new one back in
I reseted the throthel pedal connector now the fault never appears agen
This whas to ez
That whas the only code
nice wheels
brake disc on the rear damn
T-Jet isn't that slow tho, 1.4 Turbo
Probably in the 120 hp range?
120 hp, unless it's the Abarth models.
120hp
Not bad tbh
If I pass the driving test tomorrow I will probably buy it on saturday
what do yall think of my Miata so far?
Grumpy being woken up
pretty nice
Seats are maybe a little out of place for my tastes
That moment when you can't pre heat the cabin because of some stupid maintenance.
who thought that giving cars an internet connection was a good idea smh
Can't view this without an account
unplanned but I learned my engine mounts are nearly rusted through so I gotta take the engine out
was just gonna do my head gaskets, rails, and truck cab bolts but i gotta do trans mounts and engine mounts
people don't buy minivans because they aren't "trendy" or "cool", but they're so much more practical than an SUV
it's missing the big roof scoop
ok added more lights
just the angle
alright demo is out after about two weeks
Who would have thunk, a car designed with practicality in mind is more practical than one designed with, I don't know what, vanity?
Then there are people who don't want to buy them, because they don't want to be like their parents
cop or not
Why wouldn't it be? Being able to pre heat/cool and get new features in the car overtime is very nice thing imo.
If it isn't reliant on the internet connection it wouldn't be a problem.
None of those things you mention require the car to have an internet connection though.
Well if you want to able to do it without being close to car it requires internet connection honestly i only really se advantage with car having internet connection.
Back in the olden days there were clocks and timers for heating and cooling.
And there are disadvantages of an internet connection, such as privacy issues, poor design requiring an internet connection to do things that should be possible without one, the possibility that it might be bricked one day when the manufacturer decides your car is too old for updates, increased complexity for repairs and replacements, and of course the increased data traffic in the world requiring more data centers and more power and more more.
But sure, it is convenient.
Better to get some updates then never getting any updates. Also who says that you can't do it with traditional timer or with a remote the app part is just to make it more convenient. Also their is no car that i can think of that simply just won't work without internet connection they are made to work offline aswell.
Well some people will always think that the past was better and newer wants any progression but i'm not one of those. I se more advantage with having internet connection then not.
I don't understand how so many cars over there seem to be diesel. Diesel used to be cheap here in the states but now with the amount of extra refining that needs to be done, it's not really any cheaper to run a diesel vehicle, perhaps even more costly.
Not at all what I'm saying.
Internet connection is not required for a reasonable distance from the home.
only the diesel of theese are manual for some reason
With a remote you basically need to point towards the car to turn it on so much easier with app which you car turn it on from anywhere.
It's not infrared - it does not matter what direction you point it nor does it need line of sight.
If your car requires connection to a server for one of the features to work, then it's pretty safe to say you won't always have access to it in the future
Fake and real Yuasa?
Looks like it could just be old vs newer design.
made a new engine mount, almost ready to go in the car
Uh how about fuck off šš
my car is basically dead. Need a new one š
Have you tried turning it off, and back on again?
clutch dead drips oil locks dont work etc
sounds like my daily
shit sounds nicer than most of my cars
not worth locking, they all leak oil (sweating horsepower)
YOOOO trump legalized the production of K-cars in the US
POG
Hopefully that means the chicken tax is gonna be out the door soon
I've been saying for years that we need EVs to be city cars with like 150 mile max ranges and that they should use standardized parts. Standard batteries, drive units, chargers, inverters, ect. Then the 'car company' can manufacture their own or buy from a third party the parts to make the car go whirr and it brings down the costs and substantially increases the reparability.
Do things like type a, type b, type c ect for battery packs that would note their size, shape and mounting points. There could also be long and short range versions. Then similarly for drive units. There could be one or two hub drive unit types and 2 or 3 different mid drives. There could even be stuff like high performance versions including as aftermarket upgrades. It should all be compatible tho. If you buy a Ford, you should have no trouble getting parts from a wrecked Chevy if you need a new inverter, charger, battery, motor, ect.
Ideally, it should also introduce a standardized entertainment unit protocol and shape/size similar to how we used to have DIN and double DIN headunits. You should be able to fully replace the thing just like the old days.
acquired my next demo derby car
neighborās teenage daugher slid on ice and rolled it
looks like all it needs is a mirror, a couple kicks to the roof and a windshield.
#sketchcomedy #funny #cars #mechanic #bodyshop #dropouttv #gamechanger #shorts
Went and looked at it, looks like they hit a rock or stump in the process and the bumpers messed up, rad support is bent and the rad is leaking, oil fill tube snapped off, coolant resovoir is cracked and it bent a couple wheels so itās going to be my derby car this year
wow it really doesn't look that bad in the pictures. haha
yup i thought it fared much better than it did till I popped the hood and saw it
otherwise I would have probably tried to flatten the roof and fix the windshield and send it down the road
Yo guys do u know if there's any way at all to potentially get a lower insurance rate for boys other than scoring great on the exams? I'm turning 16 in not that long and I'm livid over higher insurance rates for boys rather than girls
no lol also probably depends on what youāre driving and what country/city your in
my insurance is through the roof because of tickets and points and a license suspencion on my record lmao
just avoid those
lol
Nah it's js that by statistics teenage boys drive way more, well, questionably, than teenage girls so insurance rates are by default higher for us
in Canada
yeah i mean tbh other than the type of car you drive and maybe your grades thatās all you really can do
how high rates are we talking? get quotes from different companies (usually free)
at its peak, my insurance was somewhere around 2000 CAD per year, currently at around 1300 CAD per year (I'm 22 with no accidents and been driving since I was 18)
and also yeah of course it depends which car you're trying to insure
In Sweden you are getting robbed by insurance until you are like 25 no matter how clean you driving history is š„
Just identify as a girl when applying š§
transitionning ig ? idk bro
Reminding me of this:
Even the serial number style is different.
prob gonna be either an audi a4 or a toyota camry or an f150
yup same here in the u.s
camry would be cheapest
Part 2 of the McLaren F1, Porsche 911 GT1 and Mercedes CLK GTR group test series. Made in Collaboration with DK Engineering https://www.youtube.com/user/DKEngineeringTV
These are three of the most iconic supercars of all time. We gathered all three for one of the most exciting group tests we have ever done. Henry Catchpole drives each of these ...
that's a very big difference lmao
I say go for the Camry
you want something reliable and good on gas for your first car
an F150 is gonna hurt your wallet when you to refuel it
had my first proper almost car accident today, idiot decided to change lanes at a roundabout with zero notice
would have been quite inconvenient to lose my car rn lol
Audi sucks
Thanks
great car though
What car brands do you like then?
Thanks š
what model
Holden
Itās an A1
Doesn't look like a Chery A1?
Ahh ur an ozzy
Audi A1
Huh
They had some cool stuff even of most it was just badge engineered Opels and Chevrolets
Vehicle adjacent but I bought a motorcycle this week
Motorcycles are vehicles.
that reminds me i gotta get my endorsement this summer
been riding dirty for a year now lmao
I guess I meant car adjacent since this is car lol
We've alr got all 3 so my choice which to drive
and yeah the f150 does have a much worse l/100km than the camry but i love big cars and trucks
also, the Camry is gonna handle much better than a truck and generally be easier to park and maneuver
Fair point but from some ahem private property driving ahem I like the feel of the truck better
maybe it's because of it's high cabin/seat?
In the context of you being a learner driver, I'd go for the Camry. Better fuel economy, but also more safe in the sense of better stopping distance and visibility
As someone who has been dailying a F-150 while I fix my main gas guzzler, I agree with wizard, go with the Camry
Barely any Chevrolets, and the cool stuff wasn't badge engineered
My Brother is restoeing a Mitsubishi Lancer 1984
Nice
Purchase price?
500eur
platform sharing isn't bade engineering
Holden only used the base platform of Opel for the Commodore for 30 years
using a heavily modified chassis and its own engines and tech
Their own engine, until swapping it for an LS1
the V6 was a heavily modified Buick just before the LS1
then in 2004 the V6 was a Cadillac-Holden developed engine
with the new platform in 2006 being fully original

@dusk ocean gotta take the green car to one of these events. Never seen anything like this. The road course is linked to the drag strip and everyones just keeps lapping, pairing up and roll racing eachother when they hit the strip. Looks like an insane amount of fun if you have a fast car. https://youtu.be/pgeSUS2xaU0
LAST DAY TO ENTER 682HP ESCALADE V (7X Entries): https://1320video.com/
We hit up Powercruise at Brainerd International Raceway and it was straight chaos ā roll racing, powerskids, drifting, and full-on street car madness from start to finish. With 800+ HP street cars lining up, we saw some serious carnage and some seriously fast passes. Kyle...
Civics are known in drag racing now
Get a Chevy SS and badge it as a Cruze
See I don't get how every1 from those car shows finds absolute legends for such low prices, even if they are broken down
for rear suspension, can you use double wishbone with the spring on top?
I would say no. For space constraints.
Unless you're doing an inboard type of suspension kit.
space isnt an issue in the rear
are their better option?
because i am making a mini austin mini
https://i.pinimg.com/736x/29/a5/b5/29a5b5a372513e6d850b8c53df9f58fe.jpg
do you mean something like this or with the spring and shock connected to the upper wishbone?
just normal double wishbone
i could even use front suspension because it wouldn't require power. yet
don't see why it would matter much where the spring is if it fits then
k
Pure Luck
Anyone know what I can do?
My air compressor doesn't drain properly cause I tried draining it once with the valve 25% open to be a little quieter
My triumph dolomite has double wishbone suspension with the spring connected to the upper arm
no reason it couldnt be done at the rear of a car with saloon bodylines usually having a higher rear in the area the top of the suspenion would mount
make sure it has pressure and open the valve, thats it. if no water comes out its good
its a free look camera u can point it wherever u want
the car also follows the camera instead of wasd bc i think its a bit more accurate
french ahh
Any dashcam recommendations? Preferably under 100usd
ik that thinkware is good
Their f70 pro looks good, I'd have to cut the cord and hardwired it though. Only have one 12v socket in my car and I can't give it up for that.
the one 12v socket life sucks
I'll just run a new circuit for it. Won't be too hard, just annoying
mineās used by my radar detector which is infinitely more useful to me, and iām too lazy to splice my dash cam into my power mirror power lol
How does your radar detector use your dashcam?
Not worth it. Don't bother with anything that doesn't have the Sony starvis 2 sensor
Reading comprehension... The socket is used by the radar detector
Sorry, mind was on two in one radar and dashcam from a conversation in a different discord about that very thing
Didn't mean to offend you in my tiredness
Can't find those for less than a few hundred usd. Exactly what I wasn't looking for...
That wasn't what I was asking.
I don't want your recommendation that's almost double the price point I asked to be under.
Ok then, waste money on garbage that won't give you useful information when you need it
Again. I don't care
If you don't care, then why bother asking here, just go on Amazon and sort by price
I don't want garbage I want something reasonable for under 100 dollars. I don't need the latest and greatest sensor
It's not that hard to wrap your head around dude
It's also a Christmas gift and I don't want to ask someone to spend over 100 dollars on me
I'm going to bed now. Please go read a self care book or something. There's no need to bring your attitude here.
So you come here asking for something that doesn't really exist, get mad when told it doesn't really exist, and then complain about attitude? You need a mirror buddy
Let's see, I asked for recommendations on a very real price point, received a good brand suggestion, and verified that suggestion with other people in other discords, and only complained about your attitude specifically because you've ignored what I had asked for and pushed products significantly more expensive than what I asked for. A simple suggestion that I may want to consider saving more or waiting would have sufficed.
Goodnight.
And FYI, I did find a good dashcam with all the features I need for 80 dollars from a known brand. I don't care that it's 1080p 30, it's all that I need.
oh i meant it used the 12v socket lol
I hardwired my q800 pro anyways even though i had ample sockets and ports, just because it looks so much cleaner and better
Hmm how does that work? My car has a lidar and 360 cam, so it'd be really interesting if i could somehow harness that for as dashcam.
itās an aftermarket radar detector, a uniden r7
just sticks on my windshield
After a quick search it seems really interesting
yeah i mean it will def save your ass if ya know how to use it
gotta run waze + radar detector for the best result
or donāt speed which is much easier
See that's the sorta device where in Canada the cops would support it bc they want the ppl to notice the cops and slow down but in US the cops want to catch the ppl speeding so I'm not sure how happy they'd be about it
i think theyāre illegal in canada besides maybe one or two provinces
theyāre illegal in virginia and washington DC here in the us as well
Iāve been pulled over with it (for non-speeding related things) and the cops didnāt care but I live in northern michigan and your experience may vary
Highway radar + radar detector >
new exhaust manifold is ready, now I just need some thermal tape to isolate the thing thermically (cuz I no longer have the original heatshield installed)
Looks nice, what car is that?
zzw30 mr2
Nice
What engine is it that you are replacing the XUD with assumed it would be a petrol engine that they came with as standard
1.6L petrol from a vitara
same type of engine that was in the samurai
ah think we had one with a 1.3? before
yeah they almost all came with the 1.3

im gonna need something offroady with a snorkel at this rate with the floods here
my 305 was fine going through it but did ingest a little water near the end
ill just fit a snorkel to a 305
here in QC you're not allowed radar detectors, but Waze is very active in my area so it's not bad
Been a while. About time!
Ok the V8 Supercars section was absolutely sick. That shot is unbelievable of Bathurst.
@dusk ocean worth a watch for that scene alone
8v
So i wanna buy this
But why
Is it very cheap or something
no, it's 3000usd
but it makes turbo sounds and its a manual
because it's the best car ever made, and i need something to replace my broken down passat
it's a fkn volvo redblock
But they basically grow on trees
Yeah but there's concerning rust
where?
Welding old Volvo's is no fun
Im not planning on welding anything lol
where would u have to weld?
bruh
This usually means the bottom will be full of holes
The rear is just surface rust
You dont weld front fenders, you replace them
Rear fenders are not bolted
you dont say?
How do you replace them if not welding?
I never said i was gonna replace the rear fenders?
