Haven't had that happen, but it could depend on the paint, cleaning before painting, leather treatment products and climate. Though I had a bit of peeling and drying on my E36 seats where I used some leather vinyl aerosol spray paint. But leather specific products seem to have less of that.

actually it started in 95 w the new dash, but still had a tbi motor versus vortex which was 96+

95 is an oddball year and is probably the worst year to own just because there’s quite a few 95 specific parts
