Get yourself a straightedge and verify both before you put the head on. It's not worth doing the work twice and still having a car that isn't working. I first had tried only doing the head gasket and got the same result. Then I ordered a full top end kit, timing belt, water pump, all the bits along with the remanufactured head. the 4 piston brembos and 280mm rotors should be a good upgrade over a single piston caliper and 256mm rotor

also swapping to discs in the rear instead of drum brakes

anyways buying bolts tomorrow and testing another adapter for the calipers to see if the change i made makes them fit properly, then i can start machining the actual adapters out of steel

pro tip spend a lot of money on an economy car itll be cool trust me
