diesel cars never were that popular here, even in the 80s, oldsmobile tried a diesel 350 that would just blow head gaskets because they built the block pretty similiarly to the gas 350s plus being no turbo so it was a giant turd

Yeah my friend has two old chevy cabovers with supercharged 2 strokes in them for hauling corn, and I have a 98 chevy k2500 with a 6.5 detroit diesel in it

its kinda weird to hear of a diesel being supercharged, but I guess it probably makes better low end torque compared to a turbo or something?
