Stock it was a 1.6l but I closed the deck myself and when I had my machine shop rebore the cyl and put skunk2 alpha rods in it brought it up to just under 1.76l

The deck may be closed but I drilled passages through the Devcon specific to my headgasket

So coolant flows directly through the deck to the head still
