My steering wheel, being straight, makes my car go right
So i have to put it at left 5 degrees
If i put it straight, it goes left 5 degrees on itself 80% of the times only when driving

what could it be

is a local tyre shop enough?

dull cedar

Whoever has an alignment rack
We don't know what each of or locals have lol

civic spoke

Not to mention that they might not even be able to do an alignment if it's an older vehicle with fasteners stuck solid.

But alignment shop is your first bet.

They should be able to tell you about what's wrong with it if they can't align it properly as well.

Tell that to 500hp in a roughly 2000 pound car with a 50/50 weight distribution lol

60mph is the highest limit here in the UK towing a trailer, nobody really follows any of these anyway.

In Scotland on single carriageways trucks have a limit of 40 vs 50mph in England where cars are 60mph. All the trucks still do like 56mph though

yeah but efficiency has to be sacrificed in that situation due to the turbos existence

We had one of those shitey 2.0t Gm 9-3 aeros and even if you cruised at 50mph no chance

always make sure the diameter of your tyres on your street car are correct

eager grove

surely the tires need to be the same width as the wheels...

dull cedar

yes, also make sure your tyres are suitable for the wheels

That's only 20mm of extra tire diameter which I think should be fine in those wheel wells

dawn shell

I can't tell if you're trolling but stretched is definitely a look

in other words, depends on how slow you let it out haha. Obviously dropping the clutch will stall, but if you aren't on a hill and let it out real slowly you can get rolling into 1st. If your gears are short and/or the engine has high enough displacement it you might make it into 2nd or 3rd if you're even more careful 😉

If the vehicle was in the shop previously and had a multi-point inspection done, if not at multiple shops and had multiple multi-point inspections done, each mechanic would have seen that the rotor was way beyond the wear limit, and whatever mechanics did see it never notified the customer. Of course, there is also the possibility that the car hadn't been in the shop for a long ass time until the owner "started hearing the grinding noise yesterday"

Hello car people!

I am buying my first car and looking for some buying advice. This will be mainly a commute car and I have a very limited budget. Over the last few weeks of research have narrowed it down to basically two options at around the $12k price point, a 2013 Lexus CT200h with 90k miles or a 2016 Chevy Volt with 60k miles. Both have clean Carfaxes with quite low milage per year, I don't care about carplay. The Lexus had it's battery replaced in 2016.

I'm specifically asking y'all here which one would have the lower chance of causing problems/costly repairs over the next 5 years. I know the lexus uses the same super reliable system as the Prius, but the Volt is newer and less miles.

(if you need more info or want to see the actual carfax for each i can send it to you)

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.
