Plenty of people do, look at any s chassis competing semi-pro or professionally and the majority of them use PDMs and custom harnesses

Jump on YouTube and look at like.... Any FD s chassis build

It doesn't take that much money to wire a car the right way, just a lot of time. Look at the rywire and painless wiring kits for example, Not everyone needs a fully modular harness with 100+ dollar per spool tefzel wire and 100 dollar connectors lol.

I think the painless kits are like 600 bucks and you could wire a car fusebox and all in a week

This is what im used to seeing on s chassis cars. This came out of my buddies 240 and that rats nets was to add one single aux port

Again, doesn't cost that much to do it right lmao... The install harness for an s chassis is less than 20 bucks, the solder and heat shrink probably costs the same....

That's part of the reason I don't like s chassis anymore, everyone is chasing clout so they do things the cheapest fastest way they can

And we are a professional shop

Takes 15 minutes, the color code is on the package, plugs right into the stock harness

shit happens during it. and needs to be fixed before the next time your on track. i was doing 24 hours of lemons a couple years ago with a few friends and out rad fan flade flew off and cut entirley through 2 harnesses.
took 4 people 3 hours to fix that

Unless it was an inline transmitter for a CD changer or a DVD player, that's how we used to do them pre-2015 or so

And it has a universal antenna adapter on it, that's a troubleshooting tool not a permanent adapter.... That is sketchy lmao

I soldered together the audio in the volvo with a blow torch cause my iron broke and it was a million times less sketchy than this

The amps still have RCAs and speaker cable to run, but DB25 runs between the head unit, the big processing rack, and the amp rack at the rear so you don't have to run any RCAs or turn on leads from the front to the rear. It runs at 30V preamp voltage instead of 2.5v too

All that thing is good for is donating the seats to my black interior 1996 and five lug converting my 1989.

That year is a single port 3.8L Essex. 145 herspers and like 215 twerks.

1996 upped to 150. I swapped a split port originally in a 2000 into mine and that’s good for 190 and 220. It’s a good little cruiser with a sound system. My 1989 5.0 is the car I use to terrorize the town.

The early SN95 cars had head gasket and cooling issues. 1999 they got it right by with the split port. Though if I could choose any 3.8 out there it’d be out of a Thunderbird Super Coupe.
