Factory radio in the XL is a AM/FM, one of the previous owners put in a AM/FM/Cassette radio out of a XLT in it and the pinout for the speaker connector on the XLT radio is different from the one on the XL radio.)

I have since replaced that radio with a kenwood one because the amp in the XLT radio was shot, couldn't hear it over the road noise

That truck also had dash speakers from the factory, though they were removed for some reason. My dad put bigger speakers in his '23 Bronco and gave me 2 of the factory speakers out of that to use as dash speakers

a cold weld can look amazing but wont hold shit together. but its very easy to see how well it penetrated and how hot it was

also if you see tiny pin holes in the metal that means it has perocity and its a shit weld thats gonna snap

you can get about 80% of the way there in knowing how good a weld is by looking at it. you just have to know what to look for

the uv protection has gotten a lot better the last few years but after like 5years a lott of them kinda start to weather i always advice putting it where there is not a lott of sun, and there are EVSE with a key so you can turn the power off so nobody can use it, a other solution is a to put a switch you can put a lock on i dont know where you live if this is available (picture of the switch below)

I just got my first bs euro engineering problem with my volvo

But ive never wrecked a car in my life so maybe that has something to do with it.

Ive have so many massive close calls where i have no idea how i recovered the car without crashing or sending it into a ditch

And i drive fast alot (when safe)

I never changed mine on my volvo

Its a thing when you get into high milage

If there is no known regular servicing of the trans and its in the 200-300k mile range with its original fluid or has only been changed once or twice then its better to leave it alone cause the trans can actually fail from you changing the fluid

Depends on the transmission of course

I just occasionally check the transmission, transfer case, and diff fluids in my truck. I've heard from other Bronco II owners that they only change their transmission fluid when they change the clutch

Last time I dropped the transmission fluid was when that gear shattered and I was pulling the transmission

My volvos got a front cover leak i found yesterday. Im calling it free rust proofing because no way im digging that deep into this car.

The entire front axle and engine underside is coated in old oil and dirt

The axle will probably get cleaned up when I replace the shaft U-joints

I think I actually have to unbolt the engine from the mounts and lift it up a bit due to how close the pan is to the axle
