BMW makes a hell of a driving experience, safe, satisfaction is up there. Reliability is "pretty good" these days with them. Honestly most BMW's have been reasonably reliable for years now. Shots fired. I only own 90's BMW's now, with the ultra reliable loved M60 V8. change my mind.

Yeah but I've never met a satisfied BMW customer that wasn't a car guy with a used M3 that they take to track days, they're not particularly safe (Volvo and Tesla are the safest followed by most of the major japanese brands), BMWs aren't reliable, and any sort of subscription model should immediately kill the road testing experience.

I think I have an issue with my shifter in my 2023 wrx. It’s got the sti short throw shifter in it. The reverse lockout lever that you pull to go in reverse to keep yourself from going to far past 6th seems to do nothing. When I’m driving in 5th gear and going into 6th I’ll sometimes go fully into reverse because there’s nothing stopping me. (I’m not pulling on the lever at all) How can I fix this or is this just something I need to get the hang of finding were 6th is?
