Well online tires in that size are ~100-130 for A-brand tires, and then fitting them is 15-25 usually

So high-end you're looking at 150/tire fitted

Most people are never going to get the full potential out of anything they own.

Many of the hypercars are so overpowered that it's basically just gas / brake / gas / brake because they are too fast for most tracks you're going to find yourself on. Not enough room to even really let them breathe.

Whereas a GT3 RS or a GT4 is a weapon but not si over the top that it can't also be driven.

But unlike the ones from Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Austin Martin, Chevrolet, etc...
It is 1) street legal, and 2) does not appear to come with the factory support contract that such cars usually come with (and increases their prices).

The question here is how much of the Mustang did they change out such that it is no longer a Mustang.

At the end of the day, a Mustang is not a "sports car".
So, a modified Mustang, while often a sporty version of a Mustang, is not really that good against its competition on track.

For reference the following are all better sports cars...
Miata, BRZ/GR86, Camaro, Supra, M2, Cayman, Corvette, 911, etc. etc.

I've had both a manual Mustang and Challenger as a rental (now, having a manual rental in Europe probably sounds pretty normal for you, but being in the US this is a rarity unless using something like Turo which I wasn't).
Neither handled all that well, as neither is all that sporting.
But the Challenger handled better and was more fun... And to me that says volumes.

(I have a 2014 Subaru BRZ and a 1993 Honda Prelude project car as my two cars, I usually side with light, handles well, and lower power over high power, heavy, and not handling well.)

(At this point the Prelude is approaching Cayman S pricing, but is built as a track car.)
