Trollstigen and the road to gerianger.

ornate viper
#

it's at least illegal in Norway

ornate viper
tardy harbor
#

eh illegal is just an issue if you get caught

ornate viper
#

kinda hard to marry someone without getting caught πŸ˜„

#

also this

brittle totem
#

Yeah the road between kiruna and narvik is quite nice to.

ornate viper
#

who would've thought this is northern Norway? lol

tardy harbor
#

multiple identities, I mean women have done it for years and came up with a term for it, bipolar

#

(jokes)

civic spoke
#

It actually isn't!
But from what I gather, then it's illegal to marry multiple wives in Sweden. But if you get married where it's legal, and then move to Sweden, then that's OK!

ornate viper
#

ah, workaround xD

tardy harbor

I was looking for some pictures but the ones I made are all on my dads camera, apart from 1 found of me in norway for the first time πŸ˜„

#

I was very young and very happy

#

wait let me find it

ornate viper
#

haha πŸ˜„ I shot pics with my phone, cba bringing a camera

#

too heavy and unnecessary

tardy harbor
#

totally agreed, but my step mom brought it anyways and I like taking pictures

#

but yeah the best camera is the one you have with you

ornate viper
ornate viper
tardy harbor
#

yeah my mom was a professional photographer so she thought me

#

okay I found it

#

are you ready for the most WICKED kid norway has ever seen

#

its long enough ago that doxxing is not risk πŸ˜„

ornate viper
#

haha, nice, you do look very happy

tardy harbor
#

great times

#

rented that handheld speedboat with my dad and ran it full speed through all the fjords

#

we've both sailed and driven speedboats our entire life so it was all safe dont worry

#

but we even had a little handheld gps to see the speed so every time a big ferry or whatever came past we surfed the boat off the waves to get a new top speed

#

bigger number = neuron activation really starts at a young age

civic spoke
#

Even a small engine on a boat makes it go plenty fast.

#

You get what? 30 kmh from a 25 hp engine?

tardy harbor
#

Oh more than that

#

Depends mostly what kind of planing Hull it is and it's weight, combined with if it's a 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine

#

But there are these American lake speed boats called Boston Whaler, those are basically a plank with an engine on it

#

something like this (but a size smaller) with just a 25hp 2 stroke would easily break 33 kts which is 60 kmh

ornate viper
#

friend of mine used to drive F4 iirc

tardy harbor

I can't remember, but I want to say that he sold it?

tardy harbor

tardy harbor

#

I mean I spend my birthday night last night put liquid metal on my cpu so I guess we are in good company here

#

ornate viper
#

I don't remember what I did on my birthday ngl

tardy harbor
#

ornate viper
#

probably not much πŸ˜›

tardy harbor
#

if it was so wild you cant remember it anymore

#

jk

ornate viper

may have been writing some code, may have been playing some games, may have been doing nothing at all and just chilling

tardy harbor
#

actually I was setting up my windows image when I found a setting that somewhat wouldve described my previous birthdays

ornate viper
#

sounds wild

civic spoke
tardy harbor
ornate viper
#

no, it does sound wild, if it was actually wild is another thing entirely

tardy harbor
#

depends what the lines were I guess πŸ˜„

#

2 white powders can have vastly different ends of an evening LULW

ornate viper
#

Lines of people to get into night clubs presumably

tardy harbor
#

oh

#

yes

#

lines at the club

ornate viper
#

so being able to do multiple lines at once sounds quite wild!

tardy harbor
#

hey you got 2 nostrils

#

also technically you could be in a line for the entrance of a club and then do the lines, making it 3 lines

#

any more lines and you'd consider it a bar

#

which brings us neatly back to the club

#

damn what a poetic moment

ornate viper
#

and all of that in a #cars channel pogg

tardy harbor
#

eh you know interesting people have a broad interest

ornate viper
#

I guess they do, indeed

#

I have ADHD, so I can be a bit all over the place lol

tardy harbor
ornate viper
#

it can be good, but it can also be pretty annoying

tardy harbor
#

fair enough

ornate viper
#

the annoying part is all this stupid nonsense you do and the time optimism lol

tardy harbor
#

but you gotta play the hand your delt

ornate viper
#

time is just a concept I won't ever understand well I guess xD

tardy harbor
#

trust me ive done the math it checks out

ornate viper
#

what type of fast as possible are we talking here?

tardy harbor
#

you would not dare to accuse me of indulging in a certain velocity synonym named white powder right?

ornate viper
#

not accusing anyone of anything, there are many ways to go fast

tardy harbor
#

right

#

because I won't indulge

#

right now

ornate viper
#

for example I can go fast by doing something quickly, or I can go fast by driving fast, or I can do speed (the drug)

tardy harbor
#

never combine those later 2 though

#

always be a considerate Speed Demon

#

From Ivy! Out middle! Through our connector!

ornate viper
#

ngl I do neither of the things I listed, anymore

tardy harbor
#

like a speed demon

tardy harbor
ornate viper
#

I used to drive like an idiot though, but kinda put that behind me

tardy harbor
#

driving fast is one thing but risking you and the people around you is another

#

I actually got a massive scare the last time that I really drove fast and since then I've been a good boy

#

I got pulled over by a cop doing 2x the speed limit

#

the stars aligned and my story was immaculate so I somehow got away from that without a ticket or licence detention... but I feel like I am not going to test faith any more

ornate viper
#

it's not a matter of if, it's always a matter of when

#

I didn't have any serious stuff happen, lost my license twice though, but those were minor things in comparison to the things I was never caught doing

tardy harbor
plucky violet
#

i only go super fast on motorcycle

#

cause they don't chase you

#

even then i will only ever do it on the highway, anything else is 10x as dangerous

ornate viper
#

I try to avoid it, bad habit, and easily gets out of control

#

I started carefully, and it kept escalating

#

Same with phone and driving, was either always on my phone or I was going fast, sometimes both

topaz vessel

I'm not.
It allows for amore variable compression ratio and therefore changing where and how an engine makes power.
It is also mechanically more complex and adds an additional failure point and lubrication point.
And while we have seen Nissa / Infiniti show some limited success with it, it's far from an overwhelming success.
I would honestly say Free Valve is a more promising technology (and arguably removes a few failure points, while still adding some new ones) that promises significantly more.
And the reason we don't see either more often is at the end of the day, everything is built as cheaply as it can be.

I really don't like the front grille.
I don't remember if these are offered with a manual or not. But seeing as they are nowhere near hypercar territory and are not exactly pushing any performance boundaries, I would want one with a manual transmission if I were to get one. I prefer the engagement.
But, that opinion of mine is not unique to the M3/M4, it is pretty well true across most company's performance lines and extends to things like the Porsche GT4 RS, GT3 RS, and all variants of the Corvette as well as Audi RS models.

If I was shopping BMW I’d buy a supra, seriously

topaz vessel
fathom socket
#

Yea I just don’t like the way BMW drives anymore

topaz vessel
#

Though... as we learned from the FA20 DIT valve spring issue, having an engine from another manufacturer serviced by Toyota did not turn out great.

#

For the BRZ / Scion FR-S valve spring there were a lot more post warranty failures on the Toyota service side, disproportionate to the number of cars with the warranty repair, that saw engine failure due to poor application of the liquid gasket on the Toyota side vs. Subaru side.

#

The Toyota techs were just not well versed in the Subaru FA20 DIT.

#

I could imagine something similar happening with Toyota techs and the BMW 4 or 6 cylinder engines in the Supra.

#

i.e. Most Toyota mechanics will be less familiar with the nuances of another auto makers engine that they see on a rare basis.
And this may also extent to electronic systems and so on.
And vehicles are warranted to the "manufacturer" who sold it, not necessarily who produced the parts and has the know how.

There's a major interstate interchange near me that has been under construction for the last three years now

#

We're nearing four I think

#

I don't remember a time that it hasn't been a construction zone

#

Between that and an overpass

fathom socket
#

I wish I knew more about it, but I'm sure if I did I'd be even more about it

#

My taxable income didn't even hit the federal minimum

fathom socket
#

Don't get me started on taxed income

#

Trying to explain equity>equality to people makes my brain rot
