Yeah i really liked that part. And Tesla should at least include a head up display like every other brand. But to be honest when I drove a Tesla it wasn't that big of deal to not have the speed on a display right in front of you. But I didn't like how much unseccery space that was wasted on the infotamient screen just to be able to show things like your speed and drivers information. Like at least 30% of the whole infotamient screen is taken up by drivers information when isen't really needed.

That seems like a thing that only happens if you want it do they most have scheduled the update to happen the exact time they where driving. The default software update time on tesla is at 02:00 if you haven't set it another time or forced the update manually. But good thing that reported the issue so it they can fix it feature.

Well he has quite some problems with it, but idk if it's just his. SkyActiv-G as fine as far as I know, SkyActiv-X is rather complicated allowing it to run like a diesel (without spark plugs) during certain conditions

It's even that bad, they have a Mégane II as a 2nd car, and that's more reliable than the Mazda with the SkyActiv-X

And that's a Renault from the period they were very unreliable

i was about to say... the only issue i have with my car (2013 mazda cx-5) is that sometimes, when i shut off the engine, the computer thinks it's not in park (even though the shift lever is in park) and won't shut off accessory power. the fix is to restart the engine, shift into drive, shift back into park, and turn it back off

2 things keep me from taking it to the dealership
1: it's super intermittent
2: im mega broke

No there are 2 versions of the 2.0 SkyActiv-G here

Lower output is the same but the torque curve just cuts off at 4000rpm

High octane isn't required I think, only for the -X, and on the Turbo it can make a difference. But not on the regular non-Turbo -X

Especially on a N/A engine you often don't get many HP difference, but you can improve the torque curve to have more power available in the RPM's you mostly drive
