Well it is better, but it also costs twice as much which is twice as much as people want to spend, hence they get the F-series
I'm not saying the F-series is bad, but as an electric truck the Hummer EV is better. But you do pay a premium for it

compare the payload capacity

hummer can handle 590kg

F150 can handle up to 1014kg

the F150 also has slightly longer range under normal conditions

if I were buying a vehicle to tow in the current economy I wouldn't be looking at an electric truck since the technology isn't ready, so that advantage is completely out the window

that means a lot more load on tires and brakes and bearings

so things wear out sooner

which means higher maintenance costs
