When I got my license my family had a Renault 5, I was of course simultaneously happy to drive anything and a little eh towards it. But it had a carburetor -> personality, and now that it's no longer around it's easier to appreciate it And it wasn't a bad car, it was reliable enough, could actually haul a washer, and probably had decent economy coughs in turbo Volvo

"wrong pedal" is a meme, but honestly, when I got my first automatic, I swear the brake and accelerator simply are far closer than they are on my manuals. I still occasionally have some anxiety that I might be pressing both gas and brake when I'm braking ._.

Probably because the brake should be big enough so you cant really miss it when you absolutely need it. And with a manual it cant be that big because the need to fix 3 pedals instead of 2.

I guess they might be intented to be able to be used with both feet, but that's what assists are for. With my first P2 you can feel the brake pedal escaping from underneath your feet, the whole car is stupid light to operate .-.

I sound like I'm complaining, but I'm just abusing the opportunity to talk about Volvos cars. :) This illustrates the space you really get in a Volvo: not that much. Seat is all they way back, my posture could be better, but there are cars that feel too big. (I'm 175cm)

Why ? It is a small car plattform but they are very spacious on the inside like the id3 has nearly the same amount of leg room as an passat in the rear seats. And they have nice comfort to apecially if you got for the opinal adaptiv suspension. Only problem with the platform is the maximum charging speed of 120kw/h witch is way to slow for modern ev standards like Tesla could do that in 2012.

The heated steering wheel button has be moved to steering wheel witch is a big improved. And it now has 3 different stages witch is very nice. But the heated seats has is now a touch button witch you cant feel while you are diving witch is a big downside with the facelifted version compared to dials witch you could actually feel while driving on the pre facelifted version.

They bought the mk8 GTI clubsport 45 edition just because their big market right now is for the GTI and R cars. And the only good think witch the MK8 was that they managed to sell it back to Volkswagen for around 52k and they bought it in early 2021 for 45k with every single option even the 5k akrapovic exhaust system from factory witch was the biggest rip off basically scam didn't even sound better then the stock exhaust.

Its not super cold in Stockholm during winter we can get around 0c during winter. But sometimes it can get as cold as -15c for a like a week to to. But we are usually doing some ski trips during winter in the more north parts of Sweden witch is usually a lot colder we hade like -25c up -30c for some days in 2018 and then heated seats/steering wheel + diesel heater is really nice to have.

Yes they are but it depends on where you live have you seen the base speceed German car in some countries in Europe. You can get a brand new Audi a1 without a infotainment system same thing with the previous gen BMW 1 series.
