Yeah my dad did the same roadtrip that we did in Norway this summer back when he was in my age so like 25 years ago and told us that it used to be like a fully winter up on the mountain roads and you couldn't even pass anyone on the mountain roads becuse of all of the snow. Same as my moms car then I can recommend your brother to get an after market carplay "box" that doesn't completely replace the factory idrive. So you can choose between the factory idrive and the aftermarket carplay. And when you out it reserv it will automatically switch back to the normal idrive so you can se the reversing camra and parking sensors. And then back to carplay when you shift back to drive again or 1st gear.

Once I did encounter them when I overtaking people 15km/h over limit, they followed me with excat same speed to see what would I do, I just signal and move over.
They move on, and like few minutes later I saw they again, someone got pulled over.

In my city what they usually do is following people in the passing lane right behind, if you being a lane hogging loser you get pull over, if you go like 20km/h over limit you get pull over.

At least you wont need to be worried about the brakes overheating while going downhill for a while. Modern cars like my dads Passat wont let you engine break even in manual mode when going downhill. I think it actually does. Because you can get a ccs retrofitted on all the model s and model x that didn't have it from factory. And the best part is that the owner doesn't need to go to a service center because the Tesla employee's comes home to you. At least that's how it is here in Sweden.

Its probably just a an abs sensor that is faulty that was the case with my brothers e91. He did have an TC,ABC and hill start assist because of that faulty sensor.

Is it just Sweden that has like fully loaded cars as Instructors cars/driver test cars. I literally hade massage in my seat during my drivers test. And one the parts during the driver test was to start in a steep uphill witch extremally easy because the car had an electronic parking brake with hill start assist. I don't know if that was supposed to be on during the test.

During the lessons that I took I was driving a nearly fully loaded manual diesel Passat b8. During my driving test I was driving a Skoda Octavia fully loaded option wise but I think it has hade the base 1,5 liter engine with the manual gearbox. And for the people that where taking a automatic licenses got do their driver test in Volvo v60 d4 latest gen. And some instructors even has Teslas as their "learning" cars. But the best I have seen is a driving school in the south part of Sweden that has manual golf r and manual golf gti both mk 7,5
