At worst, it will have the header on the mobo, and I'm sure the cable is like 10$ on ebay

i have an i7 4790 in my vr desktop, and it performs well... same gen.

still better than what WAS there, an original gen new pentium g.

i see no problem with ddr3 or 4th gen intel.

i just cant "normally" run windows 11, but ill be using 10 anyways.

all we need is external drive bays to get their data back.
