it really depends on how the laptop is setup to move airflow.. if the top of your laptop gets warm during game play i wouldn't want to run it closed just cause it would heat the screen up which might shorten the life of your screen

Windows update screwed me over for the last time in August of 2020, so in lockdown I discovered Linux and open source software and was fascinated (and still am).
Anyway my girlfriend wanted to play Genshin Impact with me, and with a budget phone I cannot use a mobile device so I installed Windows and I'm amazed with how far it's come for me as a developer in the last 2 years.

99% of my time was spent in a terminal, and with my main speciality being Linux distro development I needed a Linux terminal.

Anyhow, WSL2 was the fix I needed. I installed it and it works flawlessly.
