Not really. It's just that PCs are raising the bar for how many watts they can consume. It's not that ICs and nodes have gotten worse, rather the market is more demanding that using more power is of little concern. Laptops can't keep up.

Top-end gaming will start looking at dedicated 15A camp circuits, or a room will be 20A. It's kinda of nuts

In my experience, slimmed down windows isos inadvertently remove semi important components and you end up with tons of weird errors down the road. If you're that concerned about weird bloat or tracking MS creates, you should just swap to a FOSS OS sooner than later

Any time that they add or remove a floor display they run the robot down the aisle or other area to learn where it is and not detect it as a safety hazard

Robot will follow a pre-program track through the store but they can also steer itself around people and grocery carts/baskets/trolleys
