As far as I know, the XPS 17 only allows you to choose which GPU control the display outputs and doesn't allow you to completely disable the dGPU.  But again, that shouldn't be necessary in the first place.

Hey! I have a really bizarre question for those who are old enough to remember using computers during the 80's and early 90's.

I remember my parents owning a 286, and I remember using DOS to run video games on it. At one point, they installed the equivalent of a quick launcher that was entirely DOS-based, and even set it up to launch Windows 3.1 (probably because it was a resource hog back then... oh the irony). Does anyone remember what this was? Or any similar programs?
