think of it like overclocking a CPU
because that drive was being fast to download a game as quickly as possible, you were also sending a link which needs to be uploaded to the email, so it got a speed boost

downloading games, they're made up of many files. The small ones can be finished with slower speeds quickly, the large ones will require faster dl to dl quickly, but even if you see massive speed increases they'll fade overtime as the drive slows down to prevent overheating when ripping through a large file, say the map of GTA V and its 3D appearance

Condenser mics will be noisier no matter what, that can be mitigated by having the least amount of background noise sources, and also with post-production. A condenser mic that gives you background noise but decent audio may still be good because you can remove that noise in post. Of course you mentioned streaming so not sure how you would do it in that case haha
