Different answers everywhere, but what I did was put it in a clean and rinsed out bath tub and put a little bit a laundry detergent on it and lather it in, and then use a microfiber cloth or a sponge, I used a sponge daddy scrub thing, and be gentle with the scrubbing, but not too gentle to where it doesn't do anything, and then rinse it off with the shower head, back and forth until there's no bubbly water coming out of it and then hang dry it on the shower rod with a fan on it

For a few hours

This was my first time cleaning it, and it came out pretty good

But this isnt official advice, so disclaimer on that, I don't take responsibility if something does happen lmao

sooo since i was unable to actually buy a new steam controller i decided to turn my steamdeck into a steamcontroller via usb proxy .... its annoying to get to work but once i got it running my desktop steam client recognises the steam deck controller immidaiatly so i can litterally use it the same way as the steamcontroller

it also needs me to manually activate or deactivate the proxy via ssh but eh what works works
