But many of those people are living in the older part of the city that is more densely populated. Because of the extreme number of historical buildings, building a metro line through this area is like really difficult. This part has the world's richest temple (Padmanabhaswamy Temple), old forts, Dutch palaces, etc

So when you exclude that area from phase 1 because it is tough to build a metro through this area, you get just below 2 million people, which falls outside the minimum population required for the approval of a metro.

(It can connect the smaller satellite towns in between like a Meerut metro model, but i'm not sure if that will be feasible here)

It is a semi high speed rail. And the stops are not finalised yet. But having parallel tracks for a metro and a semi high speed rail, in a place where land prices are crazy high does not make sense.

The city and airport are definitely going to be connected by the semi HSR, and a future extension to Nagercoil and then towards Chennai is also planned. That will connect Vizhinjam intl seaport

Pretty much any Herman Miller that feels comfortable to your body and meets your ergonomic needs. Also, don't think this means you must spend $1500 CAD / full price; there are many refurbishment resellers who take truckloads of chairs from old offices, clean them up, then sell them for half the new cost.

"Gaming" is just a marketing term. Do not buy something you'll use for hours per day based on marketing terms, and ideally try to physically test it before purchase if you have a chair store nearby.

Honestly, most "gaming chairs" are overpriced junk. A basic $100–150 mesh chair from an office supply store like Staples will usually outlast them and be more ergonomic.

Speaking from experience: I had a 2018 Secretlab (~$450 new) that's now shedding microplastics as the PU leather breaks down. My Staples mesh chair from the same year is still going strong, just a bit of mesh stretching.

If you want to really upgrade, check the used office furniture market. I picked up a Herman Miller Mirra 2 for $300 in near-new condition from someone liquidating office furniture (they're ~$1400 new). Best investment I've made for my setup by far. Companies offload these chairs all the time, so the deals are out there if you keep an eye out.

you should go to a repair show and see if they can do some datat recovery on the hdds

From my personal experience, The chance that some component on your laptop fails is significantly more than a desktop.

In desktop, repairing stuff or upgrading stuff is easier. If you have soldered RAM, then you will have even more issues regarding upgradability and stuff. There's a lot more issues that a laptop could have, that does not exist on a desktop.

The GPU and the motherboard are also so deeply interconnected...

My other question still stands. You probably don't use the dialer anymore, and you can't uninstall it. Keep Edge off from startup, and it won't disturb you again.
