I know if I only run a single encode at a time, the Core Ultra 265 will highly likely be faster. However, this is where the 88 threads of the Dual Xeons helps and I can 3 encode jobs simultaneously.

Removing anti virus is fine. Defender is good enough. Ms edge in eu can be uninstalled. Otherwise just prevent it from running on startup and it won't bother you at all.

But tbh if you use Google Chrome, a highly customised edge is much better than chrome, especially with vertical tabs. It's also amazing for PDFs.

DDR5 boards are fine with 4 sticks. but if you have 1 dimm per channel, with 1 rank per dimm, you can get 8000+mhz, if you have 2dpc or 2rpc... 6400mhz is your limit
