I know the uGreen offers SSD cacheing (probably use my old 990 pro), i don't see how mac could do that.

• most strenuous thing it will be doing in regular intervals is transcoding lossless 4k 10-bit(~100mbps) to whatever is the bottleneck, either upload speed, or device capabilities. Mostly local, but remote access would be nice.
• Other than that its just data consolidation (not looking forward to manually organizing all this 😭) and adding data redundancy, (i just loss an irreplaceable 16TB drive this weekend.) nothing else it NEEDS to do.

For YouTube, you'll need to create a script to download videos you plan to watch. For Spotify you're just going to have to buy each track on iTunes or Google Play music or whatever. And then you just put them on the device.

For the YouTube videos I highly suggest 144p because you only have 4GB storage.
