scammers try everything. just had to deal with one tonight.. had some "14yo girl" messaging my 14yo son, trying to get him to send "her" some photos.. when he said no, "she" said "she" was inside his phone and used some clever trickery to try and convince him that they could release some topless pictures of him, to all of his friends and family.. he was super upset.. i spent 20 minutes showing him how this works, and how scams work, and how these high pressure tactics are there to convince him to hand over money quickly, and without telling me. i ended our conversation tonight with "good night.. and btw, if they are actually in your phone and have remote access.. ill eat my own arse" 🙂
