tbh, a second hand market for digital games would practically kill piracy. if you could get cheap "used" digital games, there would be no reason to bypass DRM for the groups that do it. DRM wouldnt need to get worse, because nobody would care.. same thing happened when MS and sony stopped fighting indie devs and just allowed dev mode on their consoles. people stopped trying to jailbreak the consoles... the switch is the only one that is seriously worked on now, because nintendo are the only ones who dont offer that

in the same way as streaming killed movie and music piracy by being cheap and convenient, the ability to sell a game i no longer play, at a discount, to a friend, for whatever price i feel like, even just give it away if i wanted to do.. would kill game piracy. because its just more convenient to go on a 2nd hand market (within the same marketplace you originally brought it from), and buy it cheaper

for the vendors, me selling a digital game to you, is just reassigning the account that the licence is assigned to, its almost no different to providing a refund

if i give it for free, they will make nothing, but they could do what they do with everything else, take 30%. so if i sell you a game for £10, MS or steam or epic or whoever.. take £3 before handing me the other 7.. now they have made £3 more than they were gonna make from that sale.. because the person i sold the game to, was never gonna buy it without it being £10, so, they were never gonna buy it.

I'm looking to set one up at my house and around it. I've got a modem in the second floor and a router on the ground floor. Now we currently have 3 different wifis going on. One that's in the 2nd floor and 2 that are on the ground floor (5g and 2.4g). Can I connect the mesh nodes to the router and the modem and make them be one single wifi? The walls are pretty thick. Also I found a mesh system that's used "indoors" and it supposedly isn't good outside, it can handle temps (0-40c) but not lower, do you think that could be a problem if during winters the weather gets to -10 or sometimes -15c?

the "isnt good outside" is because it wont be rated for weather resistance.. no resistance to water, or frost.. it will die as soon as it gets humid, or you get a cooler day following a warmer day

i have a tplink router next to my modem, and i have 2 tp link mesh devices. one in the very back of the house downstairs, and one on the landing upstairs... whole house gets 500+mbiit wifi with ease. much of it 1000+mbit. although, anything where connectivity is essential, or low latency is essential, is wired in anyway, and those are all on 2.5gbit

There's a trick where you unplug and plug in your monitor to your pc in a specific time order. Goes unplug, wait 10 seconds exactly (you can be one or two seconds off but if you don't get it exact it sometimes doesn't work), plug back in, wait 3 seconds, unplug again, this time wait 15 seconds exactly, replug and wait 20 seconds, then unplug and replug.

That usually fixes the black boxes. The AMD app youll have to uninstll and clear all the cache files
