so you understand that those cpus target 95c as their running temp, and TRY to get to that temp.. and push more mhz until they run out of the ability to do so? you understand that by design, they are supposed to run hot?

the architecture is designed around them running hot.. and the old way of thinking of "it must run as cool as possible" hasnt been true for a few years now

the more you move heat away from it, the more it will try and push towards 95c by shoving out more mhz... it will always reach a limit of how many mhz that pieice of silicone can produce... but it will keep trying until it runs out of ability

when it hits 95c it will stop trying, as it drops below 95c, it tries again, if it drops to 60c, but hits its physical limits of producing more mhz... it will stick at 60c.... if its running at 40c, its because its told its self that "im doing fuck all right now, so ill clock myself down as far as i can go without being unstable"... and it will then try and redliine at that new lower target

its an incredible design concept that AMD went with, that they have, and content creators have... communicated terribly

When it comes to working with fireworks, it is natively Windows.
Lighting design on MA3? Better optimized on Windows, works on Mac but still have some issues with I/O stuff.
Projection mapping work and playback? Better optimize with Mac.

As you can tell, I have a little bit of both here you can have the best of all Windows PC's and yet projection mapping with HeavyM, C4D, AE and Green Hippo running at once is still not the greatest performance. Which is where my M3 Ultra Mac Studio comes in.

So, with this cpu ive done a few things so far, pbo on, -30 all core curve, fclk 2133, mclk at 6200, expo 1 on, pbo scalar at x10, uclk=mclk, and in pbo the boost override max is only +25mhz for some reason. I have a 240mm aio the arctic liquid freezer 2 i think its called with mx6 paste, just struggling to find more performance out of it, my best cinebench r23 score is like 37.5k iirc. Just not sure what to try next? I havent bothered to push the heck out of any parameters like the curve or fclk, but this is stable right now so idk what the next move is. Any help will be appreciated 🙂 ty
