Any recommendations on viable avenues for finding a used rtx 3090? for use with ai content creation using comfyui. In the comfyui community there's a very strong belief the 3090 is the best balance between value and performance. I've never purchased a used gpu before. I've searched my local marketplace, and its a ghost-town. Does that really leave me with ebay and jawa? what other options might there be?

And certain directories on my Nas are auto backed up to Amazon S3 storage. Further to that, certain critical "can't lose" things are burned to dvd and stored at my inlaws

You can in fact do a marquee-style screen design like Mclaren does for their race mode with their folding dash and make it actually work well, or even do multiple tiny screens for other cabin functions like Bugatti did in the Chiron and be made to be functional and useful.

You shouldn't however try to be like Ford or Tesla with their touchscreen menus hiding sub menus for functions you'd want front and center or have to dig for stuff that should be displayed on screen by default, let alone not at least allow customization to add those as tiles/widgets.

You don't put your cabin A/C controls in another menu that the driver would have to flip to while they're driving on the road.
You don't make menus cumbersome to navigate, just to find one thing, to require the driver's attention to have to find, diverting said attention away from the road.

Or you must look to confirm your selection. 🤷 but yes, if the touch UI never changes the locations of anything, and the UI elements are big enough, this is doable just like physical controls.

well if ya find em, its a 2-pin PSWD jumper, move the jumper to the RTCRST pins for a moment, then move it back to its original PSWD pins to clear the password and allow access to the bios, but that wont help with the drive

I only did some print and photo editing work with it, the heavier workflow was done on my Windows PC.

After long consideration for an upgrade, I decided to pull the trigger on the M4 MBP Max chip.

I don't understand why some people obsess over ppi for monitor. Arguing that a person should get a 27inch monitor over a 32inch monitor. Just sit further away dumbass. All that matters is the resolution and how much of your fov the monitor takes up at the distance you decide to place it from yourself.

That's valid. However when shopping for a monitor someone said I should get 27inch for higher ppi. I just said that I would place it further away since the 32inch is cheaper, but they still kept arguing ppi still matters even when you change the distance the monitor is from you, which is just objectively false.

ppi does matter, however in your case not so much. some people are just stuck on the fact that what they like doesnt always apply to everybody.

If you don't have room to move your monitor back further, then sure. However then that's just a problem of the monitor being too big for your field of view. If the monitor takes up the same amount of your FOV in both scenarios, then ppi objectively doesn't matter.
