the big differences come when you use your GPU for video editing, or real time rendering of complex models

so while yes, GDDR N always has more bandwidth per GB than DDR N, (where N is the generation that is out at the same time), it doesnt mean that the bandwidth is actually used or is "better"

"better" is always subjective, and you need to actually understand the subject before you can start saying whether or not something is "better"

actually.. .in gaming... a feature everyone hates, uses that GDDR bandwidth... framegen... because its rapidly updating and re-training a ML model, in real time, while also using that model... so that DOES use the bandwidth...
