The 30series to 40series have a good performance bump but only for the RTX3080, 3090, 4080 and 4090. However the 50series performance is mostly based on frame gen except the maybe 5080 but the 5090 is not and can handle its own

Also NVIDIA have started making the high end GPU’s less and less available after they launch. After 3-4months your lucky if you can find one. Additionally they are never MSRP unless they have a founders edition and your lucky on getting one.

All thats available are the budget cards because they know that in 2years they will have to upgrade. Luckily my rtx3060 lasted me 4years on 3440p graphics
