Normally, OEM unlocking just requires wiping the phone, then re-setting up all your stuff. Bit annoying / cumbersome though, especially if you have a ton of apps.

if you're on Windows, under This PC in File Explorer, is the hard drive you connected visible? If not, open Disk Management, right click on the unallocated drive, and select New Volume and go through the menu without changing anything

Otherwise you'll want to manually specify your download location when installing new programs
