i have a laptop with i7 10750h purchased in late 2020 after undervolting and tweaking alot to boost its performance it got a score of 8k in cinebench r23 the with default it gets around 7.2k, but now after years of heavy usage and hve also used to for eth mining for a month with all the tweaked settings it gets a score of 6.8k

and a noticable performance loss is visible

learning C++ (or any C based language) is useful, because they are all roughly the same syntax, so you can more or less learn any other C based language in a relatively short time... also learning python while also learning C++, helps you break out of "im learning C++" and puts you into "im learning the core concepts of 'how software development works', which is the difference between being a coder, and a developer

you start as a junior no matter what your level of education, and you find out pretty quickly, that the idealised version of software dev you learn in school, is very far from what enterprise software actually looks like

look at the size of the connectors and they should be named

and look at the psu

1st cable you showed is main 24 pin motherboard power, the big 24 pin end goes in the mobo, other end goes in PSU on top where it says "24 pin ATX"

2nd cable is PCI 6/8 pin. Split end goes in GPU (use all 8 pins, they should kind of fit together then push in.) PSU end goes below 24 pin ATX on PSU.

3rd cable is sata power cables for sata storage drives. Flat end(s) for drives.

4th cable 8 pin CPU power. 'Type-4' labeled end goes in PSU next to PCI cable from above. Other end typically goes upper left of mobo.

5th cable is another PCI 6/8 pin. Same as 2nd cable. GPU may only need the 6 pin and not the other 2.

6th cable is molex, these may not be needed, don't worry about them unless you really need them.

Hopefully someone else will chime in if I missed something.

This may be helpful, but you're setup will be a bit different. But this seems to be typical.

PSU end will certainly be different, I won't bother with that, it won't help.

Other cables you might need are:

various USB cables from mobo to case as well as the power cables for the case (please read the manual for your case carefully here, it's important.)

Sata data cables (small and flat, go from the matching ports on the mobo to the small flat connector on sata drives)

3/4 pin fan/pump headers & rgb headers (reference your motherboard manual, very important. It should have a diagram of their locations)

Yep, the PSU side will say type 4, the GPU side will have a 6 pin plus a 2 pin (I think). The 2 and 6 will fit together like a puzzle piece then plug in to GPU
