For a first time PC build, sure, but since Retail Keys can be moved between computers... they pay for themselves after you build newer PC's in the future. I'm still using the same Windows 7 Pro license I bought way back in 2009 or 2010 on my desktop computer, and my laptop is using the same Windows 8.1 Pro license bought at a steep "you work for a PC retailer, have a discount" discount in 2012.

I'm trying to connect two speakers that use a 1/4" jack into a splitter / i.e. seteo breakout that uses 3.5mm. I have adapters for each cable to plug into the splitter. The "tip" channel of the splitter is working but not the "ring". For some reason, it sounds like it's sending stereo or mono output to the one speaker that gets the signal, which makes me question whether the computer is even putting out stereo signal.
