But still you can run the solar system and extrasolar concurrently... ie it does perhaps matter with at least jupiter and sun. Mostly because of jupiter the barycenter (so basically center point of that total mass) is significantly offset

I think our solar system barycenter might even be outside the sun surface i forget. But either way i remember theres a noticeable wobble :p

KSP runs multiple different sims at different scales.. it runs each planet as its own sim, then runs the planet with its moons as a sim, and then runs the solar system as a whole as a sim... and you pass between those regions, and you sort of "LOD" within each of the sims, and your "origin" is always within the current sim

up until recently, it was worse than the first game, had fewer features and was more crashy... latest updates have fixed that... it runs much better than the first, the mod system isnt tied to steam anymore, and the simulation is better and more efficient, but also bigger at the same time

but tbh, if you enjoy 1, you are not missing much from 2 yet

The real reason rural residential areas tend to be low density is because low density is the starting point you use for all residential. But a lot of laws apply based on rural or not i think

Then at one point it is rezoned to lose that status. No more gun range in your back yard. No more 80 kmph sign out of your driveway immediately. At least here its high density residential or some sht

But the density is determined as various limits like building height, etc I recall hearing. They decide this on a very granular scale. CS1 I recall has slower than irl speed limits out of the box. You can only edit lanes, speed, etc with that very TMPE mod i mentioned but its on the most individual scale. And usually the need arises to edit traffic because that same granulity single instance occurs

Where I am IRL: road cannot be over 70 or some sht based on zoning. Im not exactly sure but its basically something along the lines of or actually written with words Rural, density, zone, area, blah. So you have a zone where residential area is houses same exact as everywhere else...

Only kids literally gotta stop look and listen before they cross the street. Crossing is the only thing they should be doing after driveway ends because playing hockey riskier on 80 kmph one lane 'highway'
