I just spent hours trying to make copy of an old hard drive because it wouldn’t boot on other laptops unless it was its own (which I broke trying to fix it by accidentally bending a cpu pin) (it’s an old laptop) and after hours I made a restore image using clonezilla. Then I spent hours trying to figure extract it in my computer, releasing I have not enough space, started deleting and moving stuff on the external SSD where the restore image is while also extracting it at the same time, having to do that about three times because I don’t have enough space again, then when I finally managed to extract it it said “Image is corrupt”

entirely incorrect, and shows you have absolutely no idea how games development, network development, network sevices development... and software in general, works at all... the networking layer that unreal provides is quite securer... what developers choose to do with that layer, for their own game, is up to them, and if they introduce problems with it, thats their problem, nothing to do with unreal or epic. same is true of unity and cryengine or any other engine
