I've come to the conclusion in my head that people need to stop pitting new high end cards at resolutions people, just wont play at, on a consumer level.

Who the hell is going to be playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 4k? Most non-speaking review, that just shows performance, dilutes the fact that, yes, high end cards CAN do 4k, but at a cost. Especially when RTX is enabled, which is again, demanding to the GPU.

I got an RTX 2060 super, RT off, and I play at 1440p medium settings most games, and I don't mind getting 90 odd FPS. Most silent reviews, just dilutes the audience into expecting 4k, which is why we have stuff like AI Fram generation, because people will riot if they see poor performance. Yes, most games are also poorly optimised, but it's just as much of a consumer problem as it is game development problem.
