I wish I knew what they were using. My guess is they use a "railgun" for the pulse. They send the pulse along a long trace in the pcb and have "trimming" fets along the way that trigger at the the top of the pulse for a short bit to cut out pieces of the pulse until its small enough. How you can actually manage that so accurately, idk but ive seen papers on how this is done for science reasons at NASA with lasers.

After 6 years, in 2022, a group of users decided to abuse it on a grand scale. When you joined said game, it would spam horrific things related to child endangerment as if it was coming from your chat, and they would have a bot that would report you in-game. Roblox's auto moderation bots would almost instantly delete the victim's account. Roblox was actually warned of this by a higher-profile dev way back in November 2019, but Roblox, being Roblox, didn't listen.

Tech trade shows used to be huge deals, with really exciting keynotes from people like Steve Jobs. But things are different now. A lot of the old trade shows are gone. And for those that are left, well, the exhibitors aren’t what they used to be, and neither are the announcements.

These days, I’m not shocked that relatively small players like Radio Shack are there.

The thing is, what’s cool at an event like CES these days is to see what some of the smaller companies are up to. Maybe you’ll find something really cool there - some retro game emulator or a better Roomba or something.

I remember a couple of years ago, the thing that impressed me most was indestructible pantyhose. The guy poked it with a fork, ran a sharp can lid over it, and nothing - not so much as a run.

If you can’t see something at the level of the next iPhone or iPod there, well, at least you can find something interesting.
