i wouldnt, because the packages that come with deb/ubuntu/arch/whatever are very very out of date and dont allow you to have multiple versions

and you generally need to have multiple versions depending on how the app developer built their app

i think music streaming services should add a way to remove repeates of songs from different playlists. eg i have 2022 youtube recap playlist and 2023 playlist, there should be an option to cross check the playlists and remove the repeted ones from the newer playlists so if i have lets say a song in 2022 and the same one in 2023 or 2024 it should remove the repeat from the newer playlists and leave it in the old ones 😄
