Does anyone know of a good cad software thats free. Ive been using tinkercad for a while but it struggles with importing anything big and doesnt fully use my computers hardware

fusion360 has a free version, you have to renew it every year, and they hide the options away, but it is there

onshape is pretty good too if you dont mind it being in the browser (its still quite performant), but the free version forces your models to be publicly available

then theres stuff like opencad and kicad, but they feel really... cumbersome... to use

onshape and fusion are comparatively easy to use and to figure out compared to other cad software.. and of the two, onshape is easiest to just sign up and start using the free version, fusion takes a bit more messing around to make sure you get the free version
