back when everything was rendered with win32, every object on an app, was technically its own window... these days with winui and other toolkits, the window you see is effectively a directx or a vulkan frame, and everything is rendered on the gpu, isnt isnt actually its own object, so you cant hook into apps and disable that sort of thing anymore either

only real thing you can try is... if they are trying to create a new account every time.. use wireshark to figure out what URL that create account action is hitting.. then set up a transparent proxy on the network that all machines run through... and block that url from being accessed... they will click the button, nothing happens, and the app will probably crash... they will learn to stop clicking the button

If you're talking about modifying the UI on a certain website they're visiting... not gonna happen if the site is HTTPS unless you can Man-In-The-Middle the SSL certificate. That said, if you can alter network requests... like say, block whatever request is being made when a button is clicked, that might be your best option.

Anyone else having an issue with a monitor showing up. I have windows 10 and after a widows update my second screen will not be fully recognized. It shows up as not active. It works just fine with HDMI but when I try the display port it won’t work. It is a 144hz screen and only outputs 144hz with DP so I don’t know if that has something to do with it. I have done a fresh install of my drivers and no help. I just thought it was weird it happened right after an update.

also, it seems uhs-ii includes 2 rows of pins (at least according to google). but this teamgroup sd card (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C65891PF) claims to be uhs-ii (can only read at claimed speed with uhs-ii reader) with only one row of pins, and it reads at only 90mb/s (vs 160 claimed) with regular uhs-i readers.
