Yes. I am newer to building pcs i am setting up basically a new pc (new mobo cpu ram psu and storage) i am not getting any thing to happen when trying to power on other than the psu clicking. I did the paper clip test and the psu fan spun.i have reseated everything including cpu and cables multiple times. The b650 mobo i got has an 8 pin+ 4pin connector manual says 4 pin is optional. My psu did not come with any 4 pin connectors. At this point I am assuming my mobo is doa I just want to make sure before driving an hour one way back to microcenter.

look for a cable labelled PCIE, plug that into your GPU
as for the cable labelled CPU, plug it into your motherboard CPU power socket, which is usually found on the top left of the motherboard
