i think the biggest differences in the iOS/android workflows are

1. iOS puts more emphasis on a maximalist homescreen where you put your most-used apps; with android this is optional
2. iOS only allows gesture navigation or button navigation depending on your model; you don't get a choice like on android
3. with gesture navigation, swiping from the leftmost edge (starting in iOS 18) goes back, while on android swiping from either edge goes back
4. with iOS, swiping down from the top-left shows notifications while swiping from the top-right gives you quick controls; on android swiping anywhere from the top gets you both
